It's really interesting seeing the different engine management and startup philosophy of these early airplanes, between US, British, German and Russian. All, different ideas standards and philosophies of how to do the same tasks. Really neat
A full Eastern Front theatre would be fun. An Il-2 and Stuka would be cool additions. The problem with the Eastern Front is that it was enormous, so picking any one place would be a challenge. A Kursk map with a lot of tank v tank and anti-tank combat would be really cool. Il-2 and Stukas flying around cracking open tanks. Maybe stuff like the Pe-2 and He-111. I’d love a Hs 129, but there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of documentation, and there sure as hell aren’t any SMEs or flying examples unfortunately.
Looks and sounds really good! A lot of pumping involved in starting up this soviet warbird. Fingers Crossed you manage to get it out of the hanger SOON T.M.
@@sonniedae6398 There is that, but also, OctopusG is really on the "quiet" side of developers. At least, this is what I came to believe while waiting for updates for the I-16, or even a simple manual for the bird. While this aircfrat (the La-7) is right in my alley, I won't put too much hope into it, yet.
Good fucking shit! Looking forward to flying this thing. Honestly the USAF and German planes just don't look right aesthetically to me. USN and USSR are gorgeous though
Sorry to ask - could you provide an update on the DCS SU-17/22 module - is it still alive or have you ditched it? The video I saw showed that it was quite far along but that video - I can't access it - it seems to have disappeared? Can you advise either way please?
Looks good. But I basically can't follow the steps since the mouse cursor is somehow not captured, and even if it was, it would be too small. But I don't see this as a tutorial anyway and there will be plenty once it's released. Nice to see how it works already anyway :) One thing I noticed though is the weird looking Ы on the description plates (like that flaps lever on the left side - закрылки). It looks more like an upside down A. Never seen that before, but what do I know...
will it be just as hilarious as I-16? 4x 7,62 of I-16 are more powerful than 4x 20mm of FW-190. In H2H I-16 wins against P-47 and FW-190 easily. I-16 without armor plates, is next to indestructible and very immune to 0,5'' bullets. Plane climbs vertical like UH-1. in spite having low efficiency propeller (because of the shape of fuselage behind a propeller). If La-7 will be just as hilarious I remove my all DCS warbirds.
@@rhysgoodman7628La-7 was used in Korea I believe, although it was mostly the La-9 and La-11. At this point, OctopusG should just keep developing VVS warbirds, then they’d only be a map away from having a home. Germany needs a G-6.
Great looking cockpit! Textures are great and it looks really promising. Will there be an "English labeled" version of the cockpit and sound? I know it's very un-realistic, but it's much easier when you need to remember all the different airplanes to actually be able to understand what they say for some of us. Thanks.
Yeah it’ll definitely be pretty awesome. It’ll be a good dogfighter too. The firepower is a little bit iffy, but it’ll do against other fighters. Only two 20mm cannons. Air supremacy will be the only role it’s good at it would seem.

Russia? Wtf? Maybe Soviet?
I will buy this. I hope to see the mighty little Yak 3 in DCS one day.
yes!
Congratulations and we hope you manage to deliver as intended in the first part of 2023.
Looking forward to both the F-4U Corsair and the La-9 In DCS! Looking great so far!
Hopefully after this we will see a Pe-2 or IL-2 from your group!
This is La-7 from WW2, not post-WW2 La-9 used e.g. during Korean War.
LA9?
@@Gentamoru No, La-7
I would love a La-9 though, it’s be awesome for eventual Korean servers.

La-7 doing air superiority missions while protecting i-16s on bombing runs :D
La-7 CAP and SEAD lol
I really like the I-16, personally. So this'll be a definite buy, for me.
dcs ww2 is saved

Looks very nice, considering the amount of work left to do. I love the texturing work.
can't wait for this. I really like flying the warbirds in dcs and this would be a nice addition to the collection.
Looks realy nice! I hope we will get it soon.

im looking forward to this plane
There is a lot good work on that it looks great.
wait... you are this far in? sheeeeesh this one came out of nowhere kudos
Its always like this with redfor planes... Western bias... :(
Smaller development groups tend to be much more silent with their marketing than the bigger 3rd parties like Razbam

It would be nice to have Ju 87 in DCS.
Did the soviets copied the design of the KG-13 control stick? Because it looks kind of the same.
I like La-5FN from personal reason
Bravo! Beautiful!
nice sound👍
Cant wait to fly this on the new normandy map 😂
Or on Marianas map with future F4U Corsair, welcome to DCS alternative world:)
Is there a discord we can join to follow?
Really nice

I need this please!!!
Shut up and take my money

It appears to be the winged version of Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang ... and just as useless.
The La-7 was an excellent fighter, but if you mean that it has no place in DCS WW2, that’s fair.
No theatre for it.

Is coming in this year for DCS ?
Gib me dat! 🔥🔥
Can`t wait for this module!

WHEN? 😆
Good job man!
Mig 3 next please xD
Great!
Looks great !
Nice work - I’m sure there is an audience out there for your aircraft, it’s just not my jam.
Impressed by how fast you guys developed this module!
LA7 = F-16
Another target for 109K4:)
you made too many typos in the word «nightmare»
