Hi John, great review, I bought the blue dialled version a couple of weeks ago and I'm blown away with the quality of it , I can't fault it in any way and the dimensions are perfect. I don't know whether they are regulating them but mine is running within a few seconds a day too and as you say the strap is first class.
Aces on the review. I really like and appreciate that you shot outside in natural light at the beginning. Gives a more realistic idea of what it's like to wear the watch. Just a beautiful beach, too. Anywho, great upload. 👍
Great review again. The beautiful area and outdoor wrist shots give a more real everyday look of the watch. Seestern is making some very nice, high quality watches and this 62mas version is equally in that class. The lume in the date wheel is a bonus. I'm not keen on rubber straps either, but the strap on this watch looks very conforming and soft. Kudos to Seestern. Thanks John.
I had the San Martin version but the silver hands on a silver face made it almost impossible to read the time in the sun. I have the Sharkey (Heimdallr) version now in metallic blue and it’s perfect at half the price. I have two Seestern sub 300’s which are regularly worn swimming and snorkeling with no issues. Thanks for a great review from a beautiful location.
Yeah, I made a conscious choice to go with this. I know how good San Martin are having reviewed the BB58 retro but I also was blown away with the Seestern 600T so opted for this. At £150 it is simply stunning. Thanks for watching:)
Very nice take on the 62 from Seestern & actually the "correct" size! 😁 The finishing on the case looks really well done nice to see that they've included the chamfered edge on the top of the case which the San Martin does not have. Comparing it to the SN007 it's much more in keeping with the vintage aesthetic/size the SM is more of a homage to the Seiko spb143 reissue than the 62mas certainly in the size department anyway. Stunning area of Scotland as your backdrop for the outside shots too very nicely done.👍
Hi buddy. Yeah I was torn between the two for review. I rate both brands VERY highly. Think I made the right choice. We are blessed here being next to the sea. Lifesaver during lockdown! :)
Nice review but the size 37mm of the watch is a no no for my 8inch wrist too small. The smallest i will do is 40mm preferably I love 42 to 47mm. I subscribed to your channel. Thanks.
What Seestern should have done is levelled off the case back with very thin graphic work allowing at least 1.5mm thinner - used a curved dome Sapphire, not box dome- and made the bezel insert narrower - then you'd have a watch. Not sure why they chose to go the path they did. Also they have quality control issues, my crown is very wobbly and doesn't unscrew easily
Sorry but I have a different opinion. They have nailed it and it is my personal favourite on AliExpress. I have owned three. You should have sent it back with a wobbly crown. Seestern are not renowned for issues...unlike others :)
@@johnswatchjoint Yes, we all have subjective opinions - but - I still believe if it were done as mentioned, you would see what I'm saying. Either way it's nicely done and the case itself has a nice finish and shape
No Problem. My wrist size is 6.75 inches. It is very important that we can share different opinions on this channel...discussion is always encouraged. Thank you 😊
@@johnswatchjoint Yes, that's correct - I see a lot of channels not replying or getting upset over comments.. it's very important to view subjective comments objectively
That is a very good question. I would say this...how many times would a qualified skindiver even rely on a watch like this at depths more than 10m. I would certainly go in the pool or swim in a river in the summer. I always take it with a pinch of salt personally :)
@@johnrb9397 No Distortion and flat. I let it go but only after securing a grey sunburst one. It is my favourite watch just now...you've probably seen my top 5 AliExpress Watches. Usually like a bracelet but this watch was originally made for a strap and it wears impeccably :)
@@johnswatchjoint I am talking about the stem on the crown . I'm afraid to unwind it to set the time or change the date . I have a few other watchers with the NH35 . They feel stronger .
@@davidcoleman2796 You should have sent it back as you may have a sub standard build. Have handled 3 x 62 mas homages by Seestern and it is the best watch you can buy for £150. Built like a tank and I really use my watches as you will have seen.

Hi Jerry. Great choice. Stunning watch, great specs and excellent low price. Wear it with pride :)
That’s a beauty 👍🇬🇧🏴Hello Scotland…
Hi back! :)

Thanks. Remember to subscribe if you haven't already as the channel has just turned I year old and I am giving a grey version of this away ;)

It has the most comfortable fkm rubber strap I have ever worn.
Lovely sky - relaxing wave noise - nice watch
cheers for this very well presentation of a spectacular homage watch.
Glad you enjoyed it :)

Great lume and love the lume in the date wheel!
great value, lovely looks of course.....
Thanks for watching
Beautiful scenery. Cheers
Many thanks
I have the San Martin version. Very similar. San Martin bezel is narrower.
This one looks great.

I've had both the seestern is better I'd say
Thanks dude I’ve ordered one thank you for the review 👍🏴

Thanks for the video 😊

It seems very relaxing there
It is a beautiful place to just chill.
Great review from bonnie Lossiemouth 👏 👍 👌

The second best option is the San Martin 62mas. Will suit your wrist. Check out my review :)
Nice
Would you choose this over the 600t?
One of them will be my first watch (bar a few smartwatches)
Yes. This is my favourite watch from AliExpress. The 600t is a beauty but may not suit everyone :)

Do you believe the 200M water resistance?

Not sure but I've been in loads of swimming pools with mine no problems
What’s your wrist size Johnny?
Hi buddy. 6.75 inch wrist :)
Cheers mate. Yep I did catch that towards the end! Any distortion or is it a flat sapphire?

Really jittery videography makes the macro shots useless. Otherwise, nice comments.
We all have to start somewhere. Thanks for your expert advice. I see your videos are excellent....oh you don't have any....
The stem is weak . It feels like it would snap . You have to be careful. Other then that I like the watch .
Good luck snapping a 316l steel dive watch with a Seiko movement. You've obviously had your Weetabix !
