We fell in LOVE with ROTE ISLAND | Motor Tour Indonesia 🇮🇩 [S2-E23]

We are Natalie (Swiss) and Ryan (Indonesian,) a couple that ride together to explore the world. Currently exploring the Wonderful Indonesia with our motorcycles, Kawasaki KLX 150 (Greeny) and KLX 250 (Mandara). STAY TUNED!
TIMOR - ROTE
In this episode, we were traveling from Kupang in the island of Timor to Red and White village in Oeseli region in the island of Rote. To get to Rote island with our motorcycles, we had to take a 4 hours ferry ride.
We were lucky that the Indonesian Marines has a post in there and let us to put our tent on their yard right off the beach. We had such a great time there hanging out with the marines and the local kids.
We also went on a boat ride to the Paradise lagoon that´s only accessible during the high tide. On our last night, we get to enjoy some grilled fishes that the local fisherman caught and had a blast with everyone.

Definitely worth the visit, Frans! Accomodations are expensive but you can always camp at the Kampung merah putih. The marines always welcome travelers.
