first of all, how shit is this blue team to not be able to score against a bunch of unorganized hotheads. This ref, although nowhere near a perfect game, deserves a round of applause for her confidence and how she handled the game. Absolutely great job by her especially at such a young age, she's going to do great.

The ref was more aggressive on her calls compared to other refs, but the players cannot get into an argument with a ref and expect to win the argument. Especially when the game is 0-0 and with a lot of time to play. Save that passion for the game.
We had refs in high school that said "ONLY 1 team captain and the coaches are allowed to talk to the refs, anyone else will be carded." After watching this channel, I understand it
ifab has suggested and is testing an official rule for this. The verbal diahrea in the game these days is just mental.

I thought the referee did a good job, although they are younger in years, they referee old school as it should be, you talk back you get warned, keep it up then expect a card. I have seen her in a few videos on here now and yes she takes no prisoners but her decision making was very good in most cases. The team playing in White allowed their egos to control their game, accept the decision and move on. We actually need more Referees like this young woman in order to bring Respect back into the game, you behave like this in Rugby, Baseball, Basketball, American Football, Cricket then you are facing punishment why is Football different!?

That was I pretty sad and intense game to watch. The ref did what she could and stood her ground. Props to her for that. We need more women referee’s like that.

The team in the white jerseys had some nice ball control skills…….probably could have won if they had a bit better positional play, and maybe a bit more discipline. The blue team had better positional play and it seemed to generate more chances on net. The guy under the bleachers was hilarious.

Referee ruined that game, didn't even give a foul for the first red until the blond diver complained, then red card on his say so.
Second red was dissent as a result of that first red.
She lost control and was very poor in the end. Up until that moment she'd been good.
Glad white shirts got a point, clearly the better side and could have pinched it at the end.

Are the club fined when they get the red card direct? In Denmark they are, so you avoid stuff like this. Even non-paid. Of course not the same amounts as in the pro's

These teams could play for a month without scoring a goal. Blue Team had a 2 man advantage and could'nt score. WTH!
Best part about amateur football is that players cannot do a normal pass or shot. There was not a single one good combination, where you could see that they actually practice. But screaming at a ref is always there :D Grown up men - work harder on trainings and learn how to play better. Refs will pick it up with a level. And maybe try to play a bit tougher instead of falling down every time you get touched...
Still a decent job from ref - shouldnt let them run their mouth, otherwise it goes out of hand. Captain or no captain - there is no rule for anybody to speak with a ref. Use a break to ask, if you need to clarify. During game - focus on yourself and your team.

Good for her. Standing ground. Must be tough. White plays a bit dirty, multiple players throwing their elbows and arms around. Earlier yellows would have been better. First time warn. Second time yellow. Guarantee they don’t do it a third time. Pretty simple really.

Where to begin…skills of the players: believe 2 or 3 players can play the game on a very moderate level…the rest is running after a ball…the ref: beautiful girl… but let the game get out of control…in the first 20 minutes of the game there are to many fouls which should heve led to a yellow card….second half its over….game is very bad…the ref no much better…but she is a beauty

As a high level academy player myself I have to respectfully disagree , the referee was poor and didn’t even let the players have a discussion with her, you can’t just give out yellow and red cards and then not be able to provide and explanation to the players . As a ref one , of your jobs is to speak to the players and discuss with them.
@@AlessandroK06 my friend, as a 25 year ref, let me tell you I have officiated at all levels from youth to professional. This game was a disgrace. I didn’t say she didn’t make any mistakes, just that she is higher quality than the players. Man management is very important as you say. Unfortunately players often forget that “discussion” is respectful on both ends and needs to stop at some point. It is a soccer game, not the Maury show

If the player doesn't leave, tell the coach to remove the player. If the player still doesn't leave YC the coach, if the coach still fails to remove the player, RC the coach. Direct, Warn, Eject!
What are you cautioning the coach for? Not being convincing enough? Absolute worst case scenario if a player will not leave the pitch you can abandon the match. But not being able to convince your player to exit is not an offense.
No. The proper protocol is not to restart the match until the player has exited the pitch. But you also need to communicate what that means to coach/captain and player, the grey area was they left the pitch and went onto the hill, only for the match to be halted once again, should have been done the first time.
I’ve been watching the first 14 minutes now, and this is among the worst quality football I have seen in my life. And I’ve been playing, coaching and refereeing on the lowest levels of Swedish football.

I think she was spot on when she told him to not touch her but she should've shown him the red card and not continually yell. You could see the ref was losing her patience and with it her demeanour. But let's be fair, the white team are quite disrespectful also. Why do players always think it's okay to abuse a ref and when the red card is shown, they carry on like little babies. The end of the game where players approached her was pure harassment. I really hope this federation makes an example of these twits.

was a completely one sided calling blues had 7 fouls which were simply not picked up 4 were card worthy, which let them get away with it. The guidelines for when a ref has such a demeanor is to ask a second or third to swap in.

very poor referee! missed a clear penalty for white in the first few minutes. Seemed like she wanted the game to be about her. The best referees are the ones you dont hear about. For anyone that thinks that was agood refereeing display needs to watch some English lower league football and see what the referees do in those.

Having seen a few games with her in charge, it's a combination, the fact it's a female ref, so she won't get any respect, and she thinks yelling helps, but she also needs to keep up with the play, can't make a call if you're not in position

How not to referee a game. Shouting at players, mysterious red and yellow cards, long breaks allowing players to get het up. Hardly surprising that the players got fed up with the whole thing. Just ruined it for them.
This referee is in over her head. Really unfortunate what the lack of accountability and emphasis on sportsmanship from governing bodies has done to the quality of referees.

I agree she's over her head, but the fact is every week players are abusing referees and also a lot of these leagues are committing robbery by offering the lowest of game fees to officiate these type of games.. So I can see where she's coming from.. Just picture you have to drive 80km (to field & back), get harassed by players, get paid maybe 50 bucks.
@@ShieldedLoL You're absolutely spot on. This is why I say there is a lack of accountability from the governing bodies. Referees cannot expect to change the culture. That needs to come from the football associations to clamp down on how these players act. There will be no referees soon if these associations don't clamp down on this.
She did alright. She wasn't buying the acting. The first red was because of an apparent strike (we could hear it), and the second because of verbal abuse. The quickest way to get a red is call a ref a cheat. That's not sportsmanship, that's lack of respect. Also ejected players not leaving the area. Blue was trying to leverage for calls, white was flopping for calls. For the most part, she let them play.

exactly. all i saw was a team that wasn't good vs a team with terrible attitudes with a ref on a power trip. this game was ruined from the first whistle.

Wow these players are terrible. The ball control was pretty much non existent, passing was terrible for both teams, and the inability to shoot amazed me. Both teams were very unorganized and play like this leads to injuries.

She seems to stay i earshot of bench and right in middle of the players after the first send off, almost as if just waiting for follow up comments. Not sure I liked that and I felt she was overly aggressive on the other calls and non calls which can attribute to the increased temp. I get it she is trying to set a firm tone but I think it’s too much
For everyone praising this ref, she really didn’t do a good job, she came into the game with anger and maintained it the whole game, when your first interactions as a ref are to yell it results in and get teams. Ref also had no purpose in giving that first yellow, it was a slow game 0-0 and in the first half, reffing out of shape men let him take his breath when he can.
blue was not good players, white was ill disciplined, ref on a power trip trying to prove herself equals horrible game to watch.
I cannot imagine that ever in the history of the game has shouting at the ref resulted in a change of the decision. Don't be a twat, play the ball, not the player and you won't get punished.

Yeah this ref was not cut out for this game, she tried to be commanding but a captain asking you to explain a call shouldn’t result in you yelling at them to leave and walk away, that’s what the captain is there for, they discuss the call with the ref to better understand why the call was made. It seems almost as if she is new at being the center ref, she looked a bit lost, and the players didn’t make it easier with those stupid challenges and acting oblivious to the fact that they in fact did commit a foul. Both player and ref performances were pretty poor, game was out of the ref’s control from the first half

Player with the pony tail in blue trying to trick her into a decision,which she eventually fell for.
It was never a foul ,well spotted by the ref , but then he goes to ground asking for some sort of attention, there when she stopped the game (she shouldn’t have stopped it) the situation got out of hand.
Also if a player lays his hands on a ref you sanction him there and then and not threaten him, she got him off afterwards as in her head she was going to send him off for a silly reason,just to teach him a lesson.
The referee needs to tackle challenging situations when they happened and not carry forward resentment towards players.

Mate you aint got a clue, she obviously laid out to the captain what she wont tolerate from players, if they cant control their mouth she has every right to book/send them off. She performed her role well. Refs are not in the game to be a friend,they are there to enforce the game, what you saw was lack of composure from the players
If you notice the blue team didnt speak back to her at all, which resulted in no silly bookings
Thinking more about it she shouldn’t be reffing anymore, she should stick to youth games

15:06 was shoulder to shoulder. 17:46 they guy shows her his chest and then she decides the red card when she actually saw the tackle and didn’t call anything. Horrible ref, she doesn’t run, she doesn’t speak to the captain. This she has all the power. They should’ve complained about her. Such a shame how she got to be a ref. Shame to both teams they just wanna play with a fair ref and she shows up. Got me tight watching this game with her as a ref.

This was a poorly managed game. I’m glad I’m not the only one who called out the blue team theatrics that instigated the flying reds. Ref really needs more experience. I suppose this is it. Really. Men’s games are always going to be vocal, and some teams pack a good box of dark arts. Shouldn’t have been so many reds though.

30 seconds in you can see both teams are rec league trash. 5 minutes tell the ref sucks. 2 straight reds for saying something?? Get tougher skin or get a desk job. Usually comes down to inexperience. Teams suck... Ref should do middle school level at best and leave it at that.
