Love this Dan, a new dimension to your channel. Really great advice about not running ahead - it's a marathon not a sprint. It is hard knowing where to stop though, Pete's expression made me laugh when you said it was midnight, time fly's when you're having fun. Looking forward to seeing how Pete gets on. The grinding disc not flapper disc is great advice. Perfect timing for me, I will be doing some more cutting on my project and was just going to use the flapper disc. Looking forward to seeing the next instalment.

Yes time does fly when you’re having fun, He has a whole bunch of work ahead of him and I’ll share as much as I can. You can also use A hand file or Belt Grinder To really get the frame perfect before paint or powder coat as I did @ 1:24 of this video m.ruclips.net/video/5kElQg1sB-I/видео.html

You are 100% right - I stripped my bike a day after I got it and although I've worked through it - it is demotivating...I should've left it more or less together and worked on sections at a time as you suggest...great advice.

Good timing for that hint about using the solid v flappy disk. Was doing an experiment yesterday and was disappointed after finishing the welds with the flappy disk. Now I know why. Cheers.

Sections!!!! Things are so much easier to tackle when you break them down in to small, easily managed bits - whether it's saving money, building a bike, or tackling a giant work project. SMALL SECTIONS!

Hey Dan, I'm standing in my garage with my '92 BMW K75RT dismantled in buckets because I hadn't seen this video. When is the next episode coming on this project? I'm eager to see what direction you take with this bike.

Nearly all K100 'cafe racers' put on a seat, chop the frame, add a tail piece. Some swap the front end for upside down forks. Then leave the oem fuel tank, with fresh paint. All look very similar

I'm commenting on this video in regards to a 3 year old video you made where you cut the seat frame off a 90 something CB750 and welded a new straight frame back on I couldnt reach you on that video so I'm trying here, do you remember what size metal you used as well as what kind of metal it was for the frame? I woukd greatly appreciate your help sir! Thanks in advance!🙌🏼🙌🏼

Nice change from the usual strip it apart to bare components videos on you tube .
. Great advice as always its seems a great idea but always ends up biting ya ass if you pull it apart as you can't get the visual effect as you do each stage like you did with the scrambler . Short video at the mo but looking forwards to seeing this develop as he gets into it . Thanks Dan

Thanks Gary, there is always an easy and hard way to do things and sometimes we unfortunately find the hard way by mistake, One of the main reasons I believe you should do it in sections is so that whilst its sitting there as a complete bike it looks more appealing and motivates you to get it finished instead of having something sitting in a box or just parts all over the garage floor.

@@CafeRacerGarage thats the exact thoughts that should be paramount in all build large or small we have both been there in the past im sure and it is easier to see a finished bike from a rolling chassis than a box of bits. Be good to see how he progresses . Thanks again Dan
