    thank you so much for the post!! Love Dermot - one of the most undervalued comedians of our time. (I've actually fallen off my treadmill watching Father Ted.) XD Toastin' a pint to ya' Dermot!

    When I typed his name in on youtube and saw that he did standup I went fuckin NUTS! Can't wait to watch this! I'm literally single biggest Father Ted fan ever. R.I.P Dermot.

    He didn't, they had the wrap party, then he hosted a dinner party for friends at his London home where he died of a heart attack at around 10PM.

    they use the term 'soccer' in Ireland ? but I thought that was limited to us in the USA and Canada.

      People from outside Dublin refer to gaelic football, which is a different sport, when they say "football" and so they must say soccer to refer to real football.

    Very forced laughter around the 3min mark. I love him and I miss his comedy, but some of these routines, eg the pigeon walk, seem quite forced.

    Because they are turning something joyous into something dreary and sombre. Get over yourself with your disgust of one person telling another person that they should do something. If that disgust were generalised, you would see the ridiculousness of it.

    God, this is really...average. He was amazing in Fr. Ted and Scratch Saturday, but this material is not worthy of him.
