    Really lovely model! Being a Brit myself I appreciate these models. I must try some armour soon, I've only completed WW2 aircraft and a BSG Viper so far. Cheers!

    I have this kit. And the small hole on top of the turret towards the front has driven me crazy. . . I thought sure a piece went there. . .but I see your video and notice the hole there too.!!!

    Great video, thanks for sharing your work!
    I really like the Cromwell tank, and all the attention to detail re the weathering, decals.
    Keep at those figures, you can only improve..
    Looking foward to your next video.

      +Vaughan Smith Cheers! Yes hopefully I can get to a point where my figure faces don't look like clowns.

    Beautiful-looking Cromwell. From the cover image of the video I thought it didn't have enough weathering but looking at the model in the video, it is exactly enough. Very good work, I was happy to share this on Discord server of a 7th AD mil-sim unit for the Post Scriptum game that I am part of.

    Very nicely done, ModelChili! The Tamiya Cromwell is on my wishlist because I want to build one as a World of Tanks Cromwell B. Working on the new Tamiya Easy 8 kit at the moment. Thanks for sharing this and I look forward to seeing more of your work! :)

    Great work! Amazing! I did the same kit but it turned out not as good
    Did you give it a wash?
    What did you use for weathering?
    How many coats of paint did you do?
    What else did you do on the tank that I should know?
    Thanks!

      +Zach Glen Thanks, glad you liked it. :) Yeah it gave it a dark green Vallejo wash, used pigments for weathering and dark grey for some chipping. There were three coats in total, the primer, a black coat and the green base coat. Then a gloss and flat coat over the top to finish it off.

    What base coat did you use as it looks better than most if not all the other paint jobs people have done. Very well done

    This really looks nice. I’d love to use the color for my Canadian Flames of War tanks. You mentioned using Vallejo Air Camo Green and in the video you referenced a green wash. If you recall, could you recount your hull painting process in the comments below? Thanks...

    Would this be a good starter? And do you personaly like the cromwell, pzIII L, or the panther A, or the m51? Cuase those are my options, im looking for my next kit. Could you give me the length?

    • @modelchili
      @modelchili  7 лет назад

      Yeah this would be a great starter! Definitely easier than a Panzer III or Panther, not sure about the M51. Length as in how long the kit is, or time to build?

    • @timsscalemodelbuilding4888
      @timsscalemodelbuilding4888 7 лет назад

      ModelChili Scale Models the amazon review suggest that the panzer III L is good starter, my options right now are this, panzer III, m51, and kingtiger porshe 2 which is highly recommended by another youtuber. And i mean how long is the model in, length?

    Weathering is excellent imo because I think modellers, although brilliant, can go over the top making the weathering overwhelming and unrealistic which takes away the focus on the subject, that being the tank itselŕ,
