Great vid. I've not been able to find specific height savings by relocating the control box. Do you have the height measurements as the winch sits now?
@monkeybiznessoffroad thanks. I'm sketching out a custom bumper and winch plate for my Ram. So I've been trying to find top clearances for my intercooler. Been avoiding just buying the winch to build around, but it's probably prudent.
Yep, it's the nut in front of the battery. Seemed like the one option out there that would make it easy to relocate. If I knew how to weld I would have loved to try and make a relocation mount myself.
I designed and 3D printed a cover for the winch to protect it from sun and being soaked with rain.
Super helpful covering all the details. Thank you. How are you liking the look so far?
It's worked out great so far. No clearance issues. Need to clean up the wiring a little more, but nothing some zip ties can't handle.

I don't have any measurements. But for me and the front camera on our Bronco it does give me a better view of what is right in front.

@@rippleeffect3910 I went and checked and the cover for the controls is 4 inches tall from where it contacts on the sides.
@@monkeybiznessoffroad awesome! Thanks!
Boy they sure are proud of that mount. I think I see how the mount mounts but am not sure. Is it to the battery hold down bracket?
