Was 345 pounds when I got this belt years ago, I am now down to 200 and had so much slack. Belt fits perfectly again now.

Thank you! As a skinny, slim-wasted guy I was really having a hard time with the excess webbing. Much better now!

Thanks, lost weight and had to trim. Glad I don't have notches to move. This was super easy!!!

You use the metal tip of the lighter to smooth the hot nylon for a clean edge.

THANK YOU!! My son LOVES your belts, but had lost a lot of weight and had just been wrapping the webbing around. This will help!

I recommend never doing this. My belt was perfect, minus being a little too long after losing weight. I used the instructions in this video and it's never been the same. The cut/melted end either frays or is too thick to easily fit through the buckle slot. It went from easy to get on to a PITA.

Unfortunately it doesn't cut that easily and will not fit through buckle after melting
Extremely disappointed in this overpriced belt

Hey Jason! You might have melted the belt a little too much if it's not fitting through the buckle. No worries, we have an unlimited lifetime guarantee on all our products! Just send us a picture to grip6@grip6.com and we'd be happy to send you a new strap!

@@GRIP6 I made it work, but a great response to how you run a business. Thank you! I dont think it will ever break, 3 pairs of scissors in the house couldnt cut the belt. it was so frayed once melted it was far too big for the slot.
