They still make the best old school Leslie in a furniture grade wooden box sound. You mentioned the small 122. It just hit me that was the model that guys bought as pair just to be heard back from the 60's on.
It is expensive, but it is also the cream of the crop. That said, there are a lot of other ones out there that sound really good too. There are winners in all the price ranges. If you don't need stereo the micro vents are much small and sound excellent too.
@@PJandtheBeard Yeah, the mini is a good option too! For me the real "magic" of a leslie sound is the "brake" function.....the ramping up and down in real time.....it's addictive!
A small correction: stereo in is for dry pass through of the dry signal (which is mucho important for us keyboard players who run Rhodes, piano, string, clavinet, Moog/synth, etc etc sounds and don’t need the Leslie applied to those sounds). The effect only works on a single mono input …typical of our “clonewheel” organs …since the original organ is basically mono (the Leslie cabinets obviously bring everything into the 5th dimension haha).
I see what you are saying. Took me a minute and I had to look at the manual. Not sure I would ever use that feature as a guitar player, but good to know if someone was trying to hook it up in a stereo chain using both inputs. Thanks!
The Neo Vent is “ The Best “ Leslie pedal on the market. It’s on my bucket list, but it’s a lot of $$$$$$, I’ve come close to buying one many times. I’ve talked myself out of it , because I don’t use a Leslie effect that often. I bought the Nux Roctary and that’s damn close to the Neo Vent ll ... I still want the Vent though 🥲🥲🥲🥲😂😂😂
That Ventilator II sounds great, nice job guys!
Thanks, the Neo Rotary stuff is great.
I'm very impressed! Sounds awesome!
Neo knows rotary!
Sounds awesome guys!
Thanks Carl! I wonder if we will get to jam some blues together someday soon.

It seems a lot of the leslie/rotary pedals are modeled after the 122.
Sounds good.
Thanks for this video guys! This pedal is $$$, and trying to make a decision on getting it, vs some off the other offerings.......thanks!

Why do you always say you have new pedals, plural, when it's almost always one new pedal, singular. Reviews are great!
When we recorded that intro clip we had a bunch of new pedals to do individual videos on I guess. Never occurred to me before. Good catch.
Still like that slow tone better. Nice jam at the end, heard a little Neal schon in there. ✌️
