This demo really shows off how good the Ventilator II can sound. As no two Leslie's seem to sound the same, this may not sound exactly like every variation, but this sounds fantastic and so much easier to use and transport. Excellent demo!
I bought the first Ventilator from Neo Instruments. It's the best sounding Leslie simulator on the market - for my money. I was convinced when I heard a keyboard player rocking a B3 patch using the Ventilator as his Leslie. Sounded amazing so I had to have one!
I have this pedal for six month now, and as usual the real test for me was to test it within a band. I did it and this pedal is amazing! You can dial so much different sound from it and you can keep it very transparent also if you want, thanks to the mix knobs! I just think the stereo image could be improved compare to a Lex but it's the only very small drawback (and maybe the fact that you have to use the wallwart power supplied...).
What is the main difference in this one, the first one, the mini, and micro, except for the size differences? Can you do a video comparing them all so we can know which ones to buy?
Deja Vibe is a Univibe clone. Not a true Leslie simulator. This pedal is an amazing Leslie simulator. Way deeper, controllable, than any other Leslie Pedal. Worth the money if you want the best.
“lo/hi” …impedance. I’m forgetting what is what but other devices typically call this switch “instrument (or guitar) vs line level” …just don’t ever plug anything in from the headphones output from any device …Neo Instruments has a warning that this will break the device which is what happened to mine when I did it (it is repairable tho) and mine was fixed (under warranty in my case).
Hi Brett. Do you notice a really audible jump in white noise when you engage the pedal? That's happening to me, even if the guitar is completely unplugged. The sound of the pedal is fantastic, but I'd really like to solve this noise issue.
I must admit that I didn't notice such a jump and having sold the pedal over a year ago, I'm unable to check for you, I'm sorry. You'll have to consult Neo Instruments about that one. Cheers, B.
Thanks Brett. I already sent them a message with an audio sample. May I ask why you sold the pedal? Also, your videos are great, thanks for all the info.
I inevitably end up selling most of my pedals to pay bills or pay for the time it takes to make the demos. Also, I run Fractal Audio gear on stage which has close approximations of nearly every pedal, effect, amp and speaker cab known to man so I don't need them (even though I'd love to keep them all!)
You've gotta lay off of the fish n chips or the burgers 'mate and start exercising... you've gained a lot weight! We want you demo-ing guitar effects. You should start by standing first.. nice demo though... Pleeeeasssseee no more weight gain!
Thanks for reminding me why I wanted a Leslie pedal in the first place!
Love that effect when it goes from high speed to low - also the lucy in the sky with diamonds sound...I'd love one of those -need a few more clients!

I love that setting at 6:39 ... nice!
This was a very helpful video. I'm sold.
Thanks for this very helpful video! Well done ❤

I love how you get right to it!
Wich pedal power supply i lust bough for this 12 V 300mA brett ? I love the voodoolabs , but which one ?
Hello, what is better neo ventilator ii or boss rt-20?? Thanks!
sounds great but it is twice as much as other rotary speaker pedals like the Deja Vibe and Boss RT-20, why?

It's a beautiful sounding pedal.
Anyone know how to use this in stereo? Just got mine and can't seem to figure it out.
What a sound! amazing
Hey Brett, how does this thing compare to the Tech 21 SansAmp GT2 and the A/DA GCS-2 in your opinion?
What the heck is the button on the rear for? Can't find in instruction manual.

Flipped over these things when they first came out ... I just couldn't afford one.
Great demo again Thanks this one sounds even better than the Pigtronix right ?

Does your unit overload easily?

universalmanchild Are you dumb or dumb?
Analog, there's a real tiny Leslie speaker in there
