i'm interested in buying this chair so my question is, has anything break after a while? i saw some customers saying the bottom broke through after a few months
based on the comments i've seen that you replied to, seems after a year it's still holding up well. how is it now given it's almost two years. i really want a durable chair for the most part. so i'm really curious
@@jaddenJack It's got a 5 year warranty on everything but the mesh/fabric and casters, which have a 1 year warranty. And if you wanna return in 90 days, they pay shipping and no restock fees, so there's really no risk in trying it out. Though, keep in mind it's a Chinese company, (why it's so nice yet so cheap) and you never know what they'll do. Clatina has a good track record tho
@@GlorifiedGremlin Yes i bought the chair, its premium and holding up well and very comfortable. the seat feels like memory foam even though i haven't confirmed it. but it was a good purchase and feels like it will last me beyond 5 years
Great vid review! I have one myself - I watched this in hopes to find a solution to my problem of the seat height adjustment not working. But I didn't realize that the tilt had so many positions, I thought it was just two!
Awesome review, thanks for posting. Ive been stuck with a wooden kitchen chair for the past 6 months and have been looking online for a chair for like 4 hours. Gonna be buying this chair I think. How is the headrest? Is it comfortable or does it push your head too far forward?
Looked up this video to see if you could lock the backrest tilt to a specific tilt. You can’t… very unfortunate. I’m gonna try sitting back in it to where I want it and tightening the Alan bolts on each side to see if I can get it to stick.
Sitting on this chair feels like sitting on a cloud. If you do not want to pay $1000 US dollars for a nice chair (I know I sure don't) get this chair. It has great features and it looks great. Shop around because the price and availability fluctuate greatly.
@@johnnyjets2343 the mesh option is delayed til like November right now. I went ahead w/ Fabric. Should be here in a few days. I’ll let you know how it feels in my opinion if U want.
@@KogaBaby interesting because i have the chair on my wishlist on amazon and i am able to buy a mesh version if i want to. However i don't plan on getting it until christmas as a gift from my lady. Gonna try this chair out instead of the gaming chair i been using for the past 3 years. Yeah man if you can let me know how you like yours.
I've seen that chair a few times and was close to pulling the trigger to purchase but played it safe and got the markus chair from ikea instead. My concern was always about the lumbar support and cushioning, as I wanted something that would be easy on my lower back given the work I do. Glad to see that this chair is a relatively safe choice and love the features it came with. Looking forward to a 6 month review! Wouldn't mind if you started to upgrade the chair for the ones from Secret Labs!
@@TRead04 i used to own the ikea markus for years and it bottoms out pretty quick and the back support stretches out. after about a year the cushion will bottom out and eventually it just starts to feel like a standard, stiff high back office chair with no features. i'm six feet tall 160 lbs if that helps in any way.
Is there a trick to sliding the seat back to the base. Mine doesn't go all the way. I have tried punching it in, but it stops a little less than half an inch from the end and I am not able to put the screws in. In fact this is the second chair I have this issue in.
I feel you as far as how bad these racing style gaming chairs are. They only serve as nice looking chairs and have terrible long term usage. Mine's been creaking for half of its life span and the cushion on the bottom of is starting to wear out. Might consider getting an ergonomic chair like this one.
I just got one, the recline is a little stiff after I loosen it up as much as it can, which for me is the only con, does anyone have any tips? The arm rests are a little short as mentioned. The seat is firm and it seems pretty plain, which ain't bad. It reminds me of my hyken only no mesh seat bottoming out. I'm 5'6" and I barely make the lowest adjustment for the headrest, if you're any shorter don't bother ordering the headrest.
does this chair have a recline lock? Like say when you lean back are you able to pull that knob and have it stay at that angle as you might in some other chairs?
I have the Logitech Embody in Cyan. I used to have the Steelcase Series 1 task chair that my previous company purchased for me when they sent us home to work. Since I received my Logitech Embody over 3 months ago I have not needed to switch chairs or have any discomfort. When I used the Steelcase Series 1 chair I started to hurt after a few hours of sitting to the point where I had to stand up. Then I got a standing desk to alleviate the problem and right afterwards I got the Logitech Embody chair and I have not had to extend my desk to the standing position since then. If I knew that I would eventually not need the sit stand desk I wouldn’t have purchased it. Or would I? I don’t know. I think having the sit stand desk is the best option.
Been following you for close to 2 years and still don't think I've seen your face...lol (well maybe briefly in the drone video you took at a cabin in TN or wherever it was). Been under the impression you were just a voice and 2 hands this whole time.....😆
Avoid Clatina Chairs. The company is trash. If your chair breaks they won't honor their own policies. They went as far as to tell me that they'll send me a new replacement chair even though all I asked for was a replacement part (I was willing to fix the chair myself), they told me the new chair was shipped, and then 2 weeks later when it didn't arrive, I asked for a tracking number and they told me they changed the policy and would not send me a replacement chair. Even though they told me they had already shipped it. Total scam company. Avoid!
You said that you- “do everything tech”. Since when is a chair “tech”? I don’t get it! Am I missing something? BTW- When you start reviewing recliners, you’ll get my attention! Stay cool, anyway! Peace.

The headrest is pretty comfortable, no issues there. And the chair itself is holding up pretty well. I think it’s a good buy.
I just wish the arm rest were 4d movement or a little linger. Because when reclining the arm rest is a little to short for my elbows to rest on
