Yes I absolutely agree! I made those with the Driftwood and loved them but they didn’t ‘pop’ enough for my thumbnail so I made some more in the stonewashed and preferred them! 🌸
this comment is for those who're unsure at the beginning: trust the process! At first you can't see the petals, but once you finish, they're clearly there
Finally found a granny square pattern that was easy to follow and looked good. Thank you so much for publishing this video. At first I was not sure, then once I had finished I stretched out those corners and it was perfect and you could see the floral pattern clearly.
Well done you!!! I I can only think blanket or shawl. I’ll have to get more practice and experience to think beyond that😮. Such a pretty pattern. Thank you Blossom
What a gorgeous granny square! Going to make some! I love the variegated granny with a solid! Thank you so very much for sharing your very excellent tutorial with us!! 💕🤗💕
Thank you for all the shares your work is impeccable, I love this pattern and already I have my yarn and hook ready to start on making this square, your tutorials are so easy to follow so it's not too difficult to keep up with you, take care and stay well.
Thank you, Rebekah😊. Wonderful learning more from you. This is so pretty! AND your using variegated colour yarn has shown me on how it would look on a project to make a sunburst blanket/large throw. I had even thought of splitting up the starburst into Picasso type mixed up motifs! It would be difficult for me to calculate making YOUR motif BIGger… but I keep getting more & more ideas ad infinitun on how to develop my sunburst! Part of the fun?! Hope I made some sense LOL Stay Safe. 🥰 J&🦜🦜🧶 in Australia
@@laurakeane8734 If I would guess, you'd just continue in the multiples that she was doing; [2 dc in one stitch, 1 ch], [3 dc in one stitch, 2 ch], [5 dc in one stitch, 3 ch], [7 dc in one stitch, 4 ch], [9 dc in one stitch, 5 ch]
Love the video & pattern but now that I’m ready to join I am confused by the joining how-to video links provided. They both add an extra round before the actual joining & you offered no tips for that part on this square. I understand the reasoning of doing the gradually shorter then longer stitches to square off the circle & anticipate the extra round would be all in DC (US term) with a chain 2 at each corner. Is this correct? Thx!
I love this motif! I'm using it to make a sweater and it calls for two triangles. Can I make them using this motif? I can't read a pattern though I just learn by videos. Can you help? Thanks😊
I love granny squares and this one is awesome. However, I am not a fan of putting all the smaller squares together to make a bigger afghan. Can this pattern work for making just one big granny square?
Outstandingly beautiful squares in this yarn Rebekah. So good I want to put down my current project and start this pretty pattern…just wondering how many squares you made from one ball of this James C Brett yarn? 🧶👏🏼❤ thanks Michelle
just a question if i need to make the square a little bigger will i continue with the same row with double trebles into corner and trebles and half trebles as set out or continue with trebles. Thank you May

I also would love to continue somehow and make a baby blanket with one big square. Hope Rebekah sees our posts and helps us figure out how to make one big square.
Would you mind giving the number of clusters there should be in rows 2, 3, and 4? These are beautiful and I have tried twice but I’m doing something wrong. I tried to count from the pictures but can’t quite make it out. Thanks for sharing these very pretty squares.
The pattern is lovely but I’ve never been so confused with following the stitches . Either go with terms of British terms or American terms please don’t repeat both along the way. For this 75 year old it blew my mind. Stick with one or another please.
One of the prettiest granny square patterns I've seen.
That’s so lovely of you, thank you! 🌸
Absolutely love your tutorials, so easy to follow. I loved the Petal Burst Granny Square. 💜🧶

Absolutely stunning! How would I make this a continuous pattern until I reach the size that I want? I Absolutely love your tutorials...❤❤
I would also like to know this, it is fab. I would love to do a blanket of just 1 continuous square

No worries! ♥️
Mine curls so much might as well finish it like a bucket hat…😢…..❤❤❤
I wonder how I would keep going to make it continuous for a blanket. I am not smart enough to muster up a pattern myself.
A little confusing at first but I got it in the end ♥️
Can an aran weight be used thats a 4 weight acrylic in the US? What size hook with the aran yarn? The center circle stays open?
Beautiful pattern and I have already made two gorgeous squares! Is there a pattern to half it perhaps?
A lovely granny square pattern first one went wrong but srcong worked out well. Do you by chance have the pattern to download and print. Please

Thanks Michelle! I’ve not got to the end of my first ball yet but I currently have 8 squares. I’ll get a few more yet as well! 🌸
@@BlossomCrochet thank you, that’s more squares than i thought it would yield. Fabulous, 👏🏼🧶🌸
Please could you let me know how to continue to make this into a bigger blanket
I am going to ban you until I have finished all my other projects ha ha it’s your fault I have too many on the go lol. Thanks for a great tutorial xx
Also could this be made on a bigger scale so it’s one blanket if so how could this be done please xx
just a question if i need to make the square a little bigger will i continue with the same row with double trebles into corner and trebles and half trebles as set out or continue with trebles. Thank you May

Sounds great - I'll have to google that one 🌸
lovely!!❤ whats the size of the crochet hook that you’re using in this tutorial?
If I remember correctly, I used a 4.5mm for this particular dk yarn. It recommended a 4mm but I decided to go up a half just to give it a little more softness 🌸
Got a question: What if you want to keep on going, just one big square? How would you manage that? Thanks Rebekah, you do amazing work!!!

Same here!! Would love to make this a continuous pattern!
I would also love to know how to make this into a bigger afghan please
Me too! I wonder how we can get her to respond
Is there a written pattern for this square? I love it!
Just the video tutorial I’m afraid 🌸
Ok, thanks for replying.
Hi. Can this be done with any yarn weight?
Olive.... Do it lol 😼😸
😅😂
was there a mistake? I feel like you missed a chain one for the first and second rows between the first and second stitch or am I trippin.
How can you make it bigger in size10”-12”square
So beautiful! What's the finished dimensions? 😊
Mine was approx 5 inches 💕
I'm lil confused, on rnd 2, between first 2 of 2 together there wasn't a ch 1 but there was between each rest of the rnd
Did I miss the hook size you used??
What size hook with DK?
I would use either a 4 or 4.5 🌸
Would you mind giving the number of clusters there should be in rows 2, 3, and 4? These are beautiful and I have tried twice but I’m doing something wrong. I tried to count from the pictures but can’t quite make it out. Thanks for sharing these very pretty squares.
Where can I find a written pattern?
what size hook
I would say to use whatever hook size your chosen yarn recommends 🥰🌸
