Lovely plants in your apartment. I wouldn't put snake plants in such small pots given that those risomes need space to spread, but.. if it works for u !
Oh my gosh! You solved my dilemma! I was trying to find a 76 inch long by 6 inch wide by 6+ inch tall galvanized planter that I could set in a wall opening between the living room and the hall in my mid century 1953 home. This solves it! I will set a bunch of square containers and run some wire from one side to the other on the hall side and then on the living room side to keep them from falling if anybody should happen to touch them. I actually have some glazed metal square containers I’ve had for many years and never knew what to do with. You’ve solved my problem and got me to use something that’s been sitting around for a long time. Thank you so so so so much. 👍🏼
OMG!! I just pulled this lively and overcrowded snake plant from my 15 year old pot. I watched your video and was inspired. Had to send my hubby out for more pots! Need to send photos.
Omg totally adding this to my "really want to do list"!! 😍 Also, I love how you showed us the roots and didn't speed or cut out that part of the repotting. It's my favorite part!
Ahh thanks for the support- so glad you liked the video!!😭💕✨ I used a very coarse potting mix with mostly peat moss, fir bark, sand, pumice or some kind of tiny rocks, and perlite. For snake plants I’m not too picky and will use any potting mix that’s listed for indoor plants, but you could also use a bonsai or cactus mix for even better drainage. Hope this helps! ☺️
Not sure if anyone gives a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my gf for the last couple of days xD
This was so clever! I do appreciate you young, artsy folks who think outside of the box and give me ideas that I'm too locked in to think of myself! 😍💗
I love this, I have a snake plant. I took one baby and replanted it. The new one that grew on the side is now catching up to the mother plant and I need to hurry and repot so more can grow.
They look awesome! My mom had them in her yard on a wall, and later on they were so happy they grew taller than her! I never saw any snake plant so tall. Yours here look beautiful in those square pots!
Girl love your style, that outfit was too cute! Thank you so much for such an informative video. I just bought my first snake plant and you taught me so much. Love how the wall turned out, it looks amazing.
Thanks so much for being so nice and supportive!!😊💕💕💕!! I’m so glad you liked the video😁 I’m excited for you that you just got your first snake! I used to not care about snake plants that much but now I’m obsessed🤩 thx for watching!💜
I loved this video as I am a beginning Snake Plant enthusiast. My question is two part: (1) When you replanted these did you water them and (2) when you do water them can you approximate about how much water you put in each planter. I am especially concerned about overwatering since there were no drainage holes.
I just finished my snake plant wall and now i see a video about snake plant walls. Google is listening to me or something. I have 3 large windows on the back of my house that get direct sunlight from sunrise to noon. Each window is about 10 feet tall and 4 feet wide. I found some nice shelving racks that fit the entire window area for each window. I went to Menard's and Lowes and got a total of 22 snake plants and 2 fully grown peace lilies to fill up the shelving. I bought all the had. All the snake plants are small to mid sized and will grow nicely into their areas. The cool thing about buying the plants now, they were all an clearance. Only a few bucks each.
Sansevieria, one of my favorites. Low maintenance and no fuss. I just got a black gold birds nest to add to my collection. Your project worked out beautifully 🌞 This would be excellent idea for those who live in studio apartments and need room dividers. 👍🌿🌱🍃
Hi, reallybigplant, I literally have had snakeplant leaves in a big pickle jar in water for years. They're still waiting for me to do something with them! Your channel is cool!
I have been planning a snake wall for air quality purposes for years. I was on the verge of building my own long planter. How could I have not thought of separate pots!? I cannot wait to Starr my healthy bedside snake wall! Thanks darling!
This video was Awwwsome, Your plants are Beautiful 😍 and I Love 💘 your idea for a Snake 🐍 plant wall! I will watching 👀 for more ideas and knowledge. Thanks for sharing.
This was the best video for what I want to do. I am looking to combine some of these I've had for a while that are the more plane green with some that have yellow and green leaves I just got. Unfortunately I killed part of the old plant by over watering a few months ago so the large pot is empty and probably needs soil with more drainage. So this should help me divide and rearrange them together. Now off to the garden store.
I’ve never been a bit fan of snake plants, but this was a really good idea and I actually have a space or two in my apartment I can really see something like this working out well for us. Great video ☺️
It's fine to make a wall but just keep in mind that they don't thrive on low light. They grow wicked fast if they have sunlight, they just stay semi dormant in low light. These are Cam plants, that means you need to turn off the "cam' system to get them to grow quickly. Basically, light, watering and light fertilizer will switch off the "cam" system. They grow leaps and bounds when you shut it off. Cam is a system to reserve energy in low water conditions. Good luck, I love all mine, they are a no brainer awesome plants 💓
Thanks for this video!! I just bought some land, and I have this plant on the property. I love the plant but it is sitting where my house will be built. Now ai k ow ai can move them without completely killing them!
Thanks so much for watching!! 😊💕🌿✨ I love the yellow edge ones too! There’s also a silvery version with a yellow edge that I think is beautiful as well ☺️
Wow.... this is the first video of yours I've seen. I just started to learn about gardening this year and I think you will help me along nicely. I enjoyed your energy and creativity. For myself I'm thinking a mounted snake plant wall. Thank you so much. 💗
In the office at work there is this beautiful display on top of one of our lower cabinets, the planter on top is about five x three feet, the middle is a tall wall of snakes and the outside edges are some fairly young golden pothos. I let the building manager know that if they ever prune any of it to please give me a call
This was so fun to watch! There's just something amazing about seeing a project come to together. The fact that all those different pieces of snake plants happened to be similar heights and it doesn't take up that much space along that wall. Love it! :D
Thanks so much for watching! I agree, I love seeing a good project get finished! 🤩 so glad you felt that way about watching this! I feel happy every time I look at my snake plant wall 😁 Thanks so much for the support! ☺️💕
@@reallybigplant Hello! I love this idea. Could you show a follow up photo? How does it look now? I have a plant that needs to be divided and I really like this idea. Thanks for sharing.
What an awesome idea! I just adore snake plants and have so many because I hav absolutely no self control and am always bringing more home. 😬 Now this is a super idea to justify my “habit”.
Haha I totally agree! I also feel like buying snake plants is so justifiable because they’re so easy to care for!😍 So glad you liked the idea 😁 thanks so much for watching!!💕💕🐍🌿✨
I’m glad you explained that your palm tree doesn’t usually stay in that spot because I was thinking how in the world does she get her palm to stay so nice in a darker spot! 😅
Wow I’ve never separated one that way lol I just cut them in half oops 😮 just found your channel subbed ❤ your going to have so many snake plants now hahahaha love love love your plant apartment

First time here.. love this video, you explain everything without going on and on about it. I have several snake plants around the house, going to incorporate this idea with some of them. Thank you! New follower!
Lovely plant Appartment... Love to see room tour ❤️❤️
Lovely plants in your apartment. I wouldn't put snake plants in such small pots given that those risomes need space to spread, but.. if it works for u !
Good point, i had a rhizome literally break out of the side of its plastic pot, grew out sideways almost a foot long before i noticed it 😂
love your crazy apartment 😅. Mine is crazy too.
It would be cool to see a wall out of papyrus plants or skinny bamboo. Especially, like in a bathroom or patio
I love your green chair

Please put a mirror on the wall above the snake plants to balance everything out it will also reflect light in that dark area and brighten it up
The pot height is also perfect. It lines up pretty darn well with the wall molding. Love this !!
Hey will you please do a room tour? I really like a few of those plants and I would love to know what they're called

For pots without drainage holes, I got a set of “diamond” drill bits and my husband drills a hole for me! Super quick and easy
why not drill them yourself queen?
@@pampoovey6722 Why even ask a question like that? I’m very capable, but he likes doing nice things for me.
