I should not have started watching this video. I am trying to wean myself from buying snake plants, Your collection wants me to go to my favorite plant store for Sans and buy more. Such a beautiful collection and love the information.
😅haha i’m so sorry!!😫 it’s hard to stop buying them when it’s so easy to justify it with how easy they are to care for, i totally get it! 😅 thanks so much for watching anyways 😁💜✨
I should not have started watching her videos period. Now I am all over the internet trying to find a chain of hearts plant. I have never heard of it before.
I'm so glad to find someone who is familiar with snake plants! I have a question.....what does t take to get them to flower or do they do that often? I ask because I live in Texas. I had a snake plant that lived outside until freezes and after years of having it, it flowered! I was shocked. Unfortunately, it was left out last winter a little too long and I lost it but I'd LOVE to get another and try to get it to flower. I am familiar with plants in general but that's the only snake plant I've ever owned so I'd love someones expertise. I'm sure, as a plant lover, you understand my view of a challenge. Lol. I was just truly shocked because our summers especially are not forgiving at all....most things would die if I don't give them particular attention like moving them to a shady spot.
I was into succulents but then found the Star Fish and African Spear types… Now I’m looking for many other varieties now :X Most recent purchase was a super cute Birds nest type and definitely NOT 😅 looking for the shark fin and other variegated versions of what I have
Thanks for sharing your collection! I feel like snake plants are so underappreciated. I started collecting them because my house doesn't have great natural light and now I am pretty obsessed! I LOVE the whale fins, especially the ones with white variegation!
I had a snake plant that was dry behind a door in my office for well over 8 months . I thought it was dead. Gave it some water, within about 4 weeks pups were growing. I LOVE SNAKE PRINTS. Now I want the Cleopatra... Thanks for sharing
I’ve not had much interest in Snake Plants. I have grabbed two different leaves from someone else’s because they were hanging over and I kept brushing against them. They weren’t being well taken care of so, I took those off. One has a scarring in the middle like the one you said you could carve out. My main goal is starting and gifting the Snake Plant to my daughter, whose house doesn’t get much light to the places that she will allow a plant in any of her rooms. Also, she has a difficult time keeping plants alive because she is busy and plants are not a main interest of hers. Once either of them starts to root I will surprise her with them. I almost bought her a ‘bird nest type’ a few days ago. Thank you for this wonderful video. YOU GO GIRL!!
Such a great chat! I started collecting these because my Grandma had some. She called them Mother n law's Tongue. You don't hear that name very often any more! I learned in this video why my Moonshine is getting darker! Lol will move it! Thank you!!
Really enjoyed your video. I have a small collection of 6, watching them grow and propagating too is so satisfying, so I feel your passion. Your wall is a great idea. I put some Zaylanica in a 4ft window box In an east facing window, they made a screen nearly a 5ft tall. I would also like to thank you for naming 2, which I have, as I didn't know what they were. Lastly your collection is a credit to you they look wonderful.
Not only educational, but very entertaining! Great video. I enjoyed every minute. Now I'm heading to the nursery to shop for more Sansevieria varieties. Thanks for sharing your plant children with us.
I enjoy watching your videos and have leaned a lot, I have a few snake plants, and have noticed a lovely yellow green flower on my common trifasciata snake plant and have been told they don't flower very often. It is growing outside in full sun. I live in Albany Western Australia in a cooler climate.
Love snake plants because I’ve never put one in a window without suddenly having three more a few months later. They’re wicked prolific if you give them some light and water them a bit more than normal, and it’s so perfect for gift giving or putting in with my reptiles! I currently have some in my ball python and kingsnake enclosures and they’re super happy in both even though the enclosures are totally different.
1 of the best Sansevieria related videos on YT.. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it… Being a snake plant collector myself I love your collection… Lots of love to you n your plant babies…
I adore your snake plant wall! I have snake plants that I was puzzled why they looked so different than others. Turns out they're the squat ones that you said won't get very big. Learn something new everyday. Thank you!
Wow! I LOVE LOVE your “snake plants!!!” I am a newbie to them (although momma grew them when I was a little girl) but a friend of mine gifted me one for Mother’s Day (how sweet) and I absolutely have enjoyed growing it. I did not know that there were so many variations! And your collection is absolutely stunning! I am glad I came across your channel. You have inspired me to add to my 1! LOL I’ve been looking for the rose and star type that you have-beautiful and quite different. My favorite was the moonshine and also your snake plants near the door-just amazing. I will be watching this again…just because it is beautiful to see all the different plants you have. Your love of them shines through! Blessings!! ;-)
I've never done well keeping plants alive throughout my life, I started watching your videos a couple of weeks ago and you encouraged me to try one more time. I went out last week and bought a snake plant (that by the way is doing well so far). I have started watching your videos from the beginning and trying to learn as much about plants as I can from you. Thank you so much for all your videos
Snake plants did nothing for me until I started watching videos like this one. I bought a Sansevieria Laurentii. Discovered how root bound it was, so I divided and repotted. Now I am hooked! I want more Sansevieria varieties!! They are beautiful and easy and I feel like they are beautiful. Off and running!! LOL
Just found this video and I am so grateful that you made it. As someone who not only loves the variety of shapes and sizes of these beatuies but also the forgiving nature of them, thank you for making a video that covers them. Not many do or if they do it seems to be the same few plants over and over again. Thanks again!
I love, love, love sansevarias !!!! Your collection is AWESOME and the wall is such a cute idea! Surprised you don't have a sanyuri and bantel sensation. You have quite a few plants I want but for now I have added the Kirkii Coppertone and baseball bat to my wish list.💚💚💚
Yay😄😄so glad you love snake plants too!! Thanks so much for liking my snake wall🥰 The coppertone and hallii are definitely up there among my favorites! I really need to get the sayuri and bantel😍 Thanks for watching!☺️💜🌿✨
After watching this video I have decided I’m gonna go with all kinds of different snake plants. I have a few now and I’m tired of wasting my money on things that are so hard to keep alive. I would like to thank you for this video for finally making my mind up about what I was gonna do. I know I won’t be able to find most of the ones that you have but I’m gonna do my best. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
I've had Sansevieria for many years. They are my favorite plants because they never fuss. I am also starting my own collection. Your collection is beautiful and healthy! 🌿👍🍃
Enjoyed your enthusiasm for snake plants. I know they are great for the air quality, cleansing they do and, like you said, are not fussy. You are a cutie, enjoyed the snake plant wall. I saw one in the Florida Keys outside the motel we stayed at and have always remembered how it looked against the wall. Definitely going to do that. You go girl!
YOU NEED YOU'RE OWN PLANT STORE! ALL YOUR PLANTS LOOK VERY HEALTHY & MUCH LOVED! GLAD I CAME ACROSS YOUR CHANNEL, I LEARN ALOT FROM U! WHERE DO YOU BY YOUR REALLY BIG PLANTS? I LIVE IN BALTIMORE SO HOPE THEY DELIVER!
thank you for this video. I love your plant wall.. what a great idea. I will be doing one too! great info on the plants... you have awakened a new world on these plants... thank you
Rewatching this because this is one of the first videos I had ever watched on your channel And my Sanservieria Boncel is huge and has new pups!🤗 Just in time for spring!!! The most memorable video on your channel is this one for sure. I'm always amazed by all the Snake plants you have. Recently all of my plants are really starting to wake up as Spring is literally right around the corner! 🥳

No I'm confused. I scoured the internet looking for what moonshines revert back to and the only answer that kept cropping up was Robusta. Well, guess I now have an answer and I'm technically still at 16 different one's since I'm certain my og Zeylanica is a compacta variety, Ah the joys of Etsy plant shopping!
@@saikopic3792 you might be right. I may have gotten the name wrong, but it will revert to something green with the snake coloring. Zeylanica is the tall version, and robusta is the small compact version. So you're more right haha
@@saludares99 biggest is only about 4in tall so I'll have to see next year if they grow tall or short but so far the props where taken around August last year and the pups where mostly planted in the beginning of summer. I got 12 pups out of 3 leaves so made up 3 lil pots. The first one has already put out it's own pup and needed a repot (I only put them in 2in to start)
I totally love your video 😍! And even more all of your beautiful plants ❤️❤️❤️! I’m in love with the snake plants as well, just last week I purchased three more 🥰! Also my neighbor abandoned a big snake plant by the trash bin, it was so dehydrated 😭, I took it home 😊, now is absolutely beautiful again ❤️.
Great collection! I love the snake plant wall. I got my first snake plant about a week ago. It is literally one offset of sansevieria bhitale Mae super clone. It was a random impulse buy online and now that I’ve learned more I’m glad I got it! I keep trying to find examples out there but there aren’t many videos and it isn’t in many peoples collections on RUclips. I say put it on your watch list. Really big plant!
I recently bought a plant at Lowe’s, from about 30 plants, mine was the only one that had a second plant that is the the half and half leaves, I love it. Glad to see you get to enjoy one as well!
You are the one person who brings into context just how many different varieties of snake plants there are! Thank you for this video!

I keep trying to find examples out there but there aren’t many videos and it isn’t in many peoples collections on RUclips. I say put it on your watch list. Really big plant!
Thank you for this Caitlin. Great presentation.
thanks for watching!😀✨
My favorite is snake plants too!! Love your collection!
I recently bought a plant at Lowe’s, from about 30 plants, mine was the only one that had a second plant that is the the half and half leaves, I love it. Glad to see you get to enjoy one as well!
