@@sjburlingameify You need to find a compromise. Too tight and rhizomes get stuck and can't get to the surface, too wide and the rhizome runs too far. So enough room so new rhizomes can surface.
I found mine on Etsy. I would search around and make sure it’s a verified seller with good reviews. There are so many people selling great plants I would t want to single anyone out. I have added several new varieties so soon there will be a part 2 of this video. Hope that helps.
Beautiful collection! I don’t know why people call it snake plant or mother in law’s tongue when to me it clearly looks like fire. Why not fire plant? 😂
Excellent video Dave! I'm digging your Fernwood Mikado. It's dwarf and I like mottled leaves. And they'll always be sansevieria to me!
Team sansevieria. I like the mikado as well. I’m trying to get more dwarf plants like that
Beautiful plants. Thank you for sharing your information.
Thanks! Check back soon for round 2. I have new snake plants to share
I like it that you're one of the few people recommending wider pots so rhizomes can find room to grow.
Thank you. These pots do work great for these plants. 🌱
I understand that plants produce pups when rhizomes run out of room (hit side of pots) so the smaller the pot, the better chance for pups!

Hi Dave. I really enjoyed this video. I’m very interested in growing a Kirkii. Can you recommend a seller? Yours was so beautiful.

Thanks! Not really sure. Maybe the patterns on the leaves resemble snake skins? We should call them flaming snakes and see if it catches on?
