Best Hunters song ever. I wish they'd play The Mousetrap live again. I remember requesting it at the Kooroora Hotel in Mt Buller, back in '85, but they just laughed. Oh well, we'll always have The Slab :)

Oh wow - you got to see Hunners live?! '85! The band wouldn't laugh at your request today mate, no way. You go hard girlfriend. Not many girls were that in to Hunners over here in New Zealand in the mid '80s. Too intelligent for them - no disrespect to the girls but they were more in to Dragon...I loved most Aussie pub rock bands in the '80s. Actually preferred them to our Kiwi bands as they were way more edgy...raw...hard. Most Kiwi pub rock bands were good don't get me wrong but nothing anywhere near Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Icehouse (one of my fav all time bands), Jimmy Barnes, The Angels, Hoodoo Gurus, The Church (another awesome crew!) and Crowded House. The first Aussie band I saw live over here was Cold Chisel at the Dunedin Town Hall on Saturday 24th September 1983. What a gig and the lads were about to break up - they hated each other - but you couldn't tell that - they played superb - so professional. Then I saw Icehouse at the same venue on Wednesday 15th August 1984 - I swear Iva Davies floated across the stage when he first came out on to the stage...then I wondered if it was me who was floating...pure NZ green...Then Jimmy Barnes at the same venue on Friday 11th July 1986 - wow big sound, even better than Chisel. Loved the gig. Then Crowded House at the same venue on Thursday 9th July 1987 - superb, then the following week on Tuesday 14th July 1987 The Angels played at the same venue, Doc Nesson had a broken leg and arrived on stage using crutches...he sat in a chair for a few songs, then stood for one...man did he get some respect for that gig and it was a superb performance from the band. I saw Cold Chisel again in 2015 on the GC at the V8 Supercars - they played at Broadwater Parklands. I lost my entire left leg in my near-death motorcycle accident in 1990 and so I use crutches to ambulate. As soon as Chisel started playing I stood up and stayed upright for the entire gig - my wife was so proud of me that night...And then we saw both The Angels and Jimmy Barnes - Working Class Boy at the Invercargill Civic Theater (NZ) again more recently. Always loved my Aussie pub rock bands.

My favourite bit has always been 1:18 when Jack Howard mimics Mark's "one single little hook" finger gesture, and Mark flashing that quick 'WTF is this guy doing behind me' look 👏👍👌🤘

Oh man... to go back and see them at The Old Greek Theatre....if only. The sweaty wooden floor used used to bounce when they rocked this gem.

Loved the Old Greek. I saw the Rollins Band play there one night and thought the place was going to collapse because the floor was bouncing like the surface of a trampoline.
The video is shot at the Venue on the lower Esplanade in St Kilda. I went to this gig.
