Used to go see this band at the club in Collingwood back in the day, they played late and were something out of this world when in full flight live, we'd walk out to the dawn breaking and think ''how fricking good was that.''
I remember walking down the main street in Newtown, Sydney back in the late 80's, scorching hot summer day, hearing this blasting out from a flat above one of the shops. Pure Aussie - great times.
Proud to be Australian when I hear stories like this.... Australian pub rock in the 80s was always our secret back then, but more than happy to share it with the world now!11
JEEEEZUUUUUSSSS I had forgotten all about this gem....still got the 12" vinyl from back in the day, what a fkn classic Aussie song ..couldn't be anything else but Aussie 😀
heard this on the radio (Rebel FM in SEQld) for the first time in probably 20yrs...woh, still a powerful aussie anthem about love...strong piece of music, love the thumping bass and marks? vocals...🇦🇺
:) Thx.saw this band in Smith st Collingwood back in the day, we drove 4 hours to get there had an awesome night. walked out got hotdogs and drove 4 hours home and laughed and sung the whole way home, will never forget that weekend.
@@billmurrell6346Yes, those of us who remember having them, know to look for the mudguard extension in front of the headlights on each side. I was always an EH man, until I drove my first V8 Charger. What a rush that was. Just like the rush of seeing the Hunters live, at the Coogee Bay Hotel or Cronulla Worker's Club. 👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
A band I played with in the 80s supported the Hunnas at some giant beer barn in Sydney's Western suburbs and seeing a room full of beflannelled bogans punching the air shouting ' You don't make me feel like a woman anymore !

Paul Rudd knows
What is it with the Aussie pub music..? Just so raw... But so musically competent...
classic aussie rock
this and talking to a stranger are my two faves
"YOU DONT MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I'M A WOMAN ANY MORE!".. I'm howling w/laughter.. Only THE BEST kinda lyrics are capable of that..
IGSYMLNH (honorable mention anyway) with horns yet again. I think I sense a pattern
here.
Love you,
S the B
Make no mistake > it's still difficult to shoehorn 'em into rock & roll I wanna hear, consistently..
Saw them at St. Andrews in Detroit and Paycheck's Lounge in Hamtramck mid 80s.

This was most popular song we used to play in our Italian restaurant back in 90s in Thamel...!!! What a day!!!
This song is on "The Hidden" movie soundtrack.
Oh, the days when you could hear a pub full of drunk Aussie blokes sing, ''You don't make me feel like I'm a woman anymore.'' Good times.
My drunken pub days are long gone but that is a fond memory for sure.
Where's the LAUGH button to that comment :)))
