Is it possible to set some of the accommodations to require deposit, but not all of them? Our particular use case only requires receiving a deposit for one of the accommodations, as it has a high 'no-show' rate (luxury camping). Also, does this require Hotel Booking WooCommerce Payments plugin? All we require for payments is Square.

First, I would like to inform you that no plugin functionality currently allows you to set a deposit only for some of your accommodation types, unfortunately. However, we already have this as a feature request on our list of features and if we collect more similar questions or requests from our customers, our developers definitely consider such an improvement implementation in one of the future plugin releases. As for the plugin payments, well, it doesn't require a WooCommerce Payments add-on because the plugin comes with a few built-in payment gateways like these: motopress.com/documentation/wordpress/plugins/hotel-booking/hotel-booking-payment-gateways/. However, Square is not one of them so if it's crucial to your business, the WooCommerce Payments add-on would be necessary so you can connect Square to our Hotel Booking plugin.
Hello. I 've been trying to find how to send a payment request of the deposit only. Unfortunately I cannot find anywhere in its settings and its documentation such option. The link created checks the specific booking and its balance and it requests the total amount or the amount left to be paid. Is there a shortcode I can use where the payment request will only request the deposit?
Hello, the payment request add-on allows to send a payment link to either pay the full amount or the remaining due, it does not allow requesting the deposit only. You may use "Confirmation upon payment" mode for guests to pay the deposit first and then the remaining due via Payment Request add-on.

Hi, how can I enable credit card payments with Paypal? The page of the paypal website that shows up allows just to pay people with a paypal account, but what if a person does not have it?
You need to have a PayPal Business account to let the guests pay without authorization. Please refer to PayPal documentation for more details to learn how it works.
My guests are interested in completing their booking over the phone (getting a reservation and processing payment). To do this I have to go through my own website instead of being able to process bookings through the backend. This is an issue because I can only reserve multiple accommodations in one booking through the backend, but there I am not able to process payment. My guests are typically older and not tech-savvy, or on holiday and neither want the headache of tracking down an email (did I get it? did it go to spam? what is my email user/password again? I have heard it all) that takes them to a website page for them to try and input their financials when the person they were on the phone with should have been able to do that for them. As the owner/front desk I need to be able to process payment through the backend without having to play email. This has been a big problem with taking bookings over the phone. Please help! Thank you.

Hi Vit! If you are using WooCommerce Payments add-on for Hotel Booking, then yes, it will still work with Payment Request plugin - your guests will be able to pay the remaining balance due using any payment gateway enabled in the Hotel Booking settings
