    The latest work with cepheid variable and other non-cmb methods to date the universe suggests that there's actually no hubble tension, with results very close to those described here. Which if confirmed, means that the hubble constant hasn't changed over time.

    As I've been speculating for a long time: there is no "dark matter" particle. It is variations in some attribute of space itself that is causing gravitational anomalies. Space is not uniform. We (humanity) just don't know what that attribute of space is yet. If the mottled CMB indicates the moment space was created, then the cold and red spots, the temperature differences, may indicate differences in the value of that space attribute. (not a physicist)

  • @MCsCreations
    @MCsCreations 9 часов назад

    The issue is how you define invisible... Because we can't see much of the electromagnetic spectrum either way. So... What frequency are we talking about?

    • @shekel2356
      @shekel2356 8 часов назад +1

      That's not an issue we don't call the parts of the EM spectrum we can't see with our eyes invisible because we have instruments to detect them. Dark matter if real would be invisible because it doesn't interact with the EM spectrum, it may only interact with the weak force and with gravity via the higgs field. It would be invisible in the truest sense in that it doesn't interact with light

    14:27 So…what if dark matter isn’t particles but waveforms…? What if dark matter is just the concentration of dark energy as like a negating or repellent waveform to the more positive particles of visible matter? What if dark matter is interwoven with visible matter in every conscious moment and the dark energy is the dispersive property of space-time and our positive viable matter is the substrate for positive creative waveforms?

    Is there any theory that dark matter is actually cosmic intergalactic dust too thin to form galaxies ? Over the cubic light years involved, it could add up to something.

    • @mrpocock
      @mrpocock 8 часов назад

      I think that's ruled out by various measurements. In particular, we can measure how much of this dust there is in various different ways, and it doesn't even begin to contribute enough mass for dark matter.

  • @196cupcake
    @196cupcake 9 часов назад

    This isn't a scientific theory, but I kind of wonder if dark matter could be the effects of gravity from matter in parallel dimensions. Like, the parallel universe matter only interacts with ours via gravity, not any other forces.

  • @tomholroyd7519
    @tomholroyd7519 8 часов назад

    Do you think that theoretical physics has become more mathematics than physics? Are papers about two-dimensional gravity really about physics? Or are some of the recent theories just mathematical day-dreaming? Sure, the proof is mathematically correct, but do any of these objects exist?

  • @FirstLast-rb5zj
    @FirstLast-rb5zj 10 часов назад

    When you say proof you hit a language barrier. It's strong evidence but proof? According to what? If I make something that produces random pixels of the same resolution it has as much chance of producing that same image as any other. I think it would be nice to grade proofs.

      I think natural observable effects are more obvious. Effects of black holes, suns, quasars, neutron stars, galactic wind, galaxy collisions.
      When people get together and really try to sell you on something invisible, especially on this scale it’s probably the kind of wholesale bullshit those people make so much money off of it’s shameful.
