Great video I'm heading to Atlanta 23 January for 5 days and want to get some fishing in around the surrounding lakes and the Chattahoochee River, looking forward to your next video in Georgia.
Nice James I'm like an hour and thirty south of the northern Chatt. I went up to the morgan falls dam but got skunked. I think the water is still very high and muddy. Same thing in the flint river when i was fishing for bass the last couple days.

Some largemouth, looks like a great place. Spent four and a half months in Georgia in 1966, didn't get to fish though, I was in Fort Gordon in the Army. Would have loved to hit some of those lakes and ponds.

Haven't fished for LMB in years. That thing was a beast. My biggest LMB is around 4 lbs. Biggest SMB is 5 lbs. Don't get to do much freshwater fishing these days though.
Engineer yeah I don’t do it as much as I use to either but It definitely still is something I love to do. Largemouth is what got me hooked when I was little. A 4 and 5 are Nice fish especially a 5 pound Smallie.
I think your bass from the Florida canals way back in the day was bigger. Still sick though. I live in Atlanta, gotta check this place out.
I think I remember learning somewhere that when Largies have that red around their mouth it means they have been eating crawfish off the bottom and the red is bruising/irritation from the sticks and whatnot on the floor of the lake. I dunno.

@@BigBassBlake the video is titled "Trophy BASS FISHING (NEW PB 2019!!!)"- I caught her at night, so it was hard to see what the scale said- but i think around 5 lbs ( which is big for me, cuz Im used to catching 1 or 2lb fish)
