When I was a teenager, our local chain coffee shop had a fake plastic plant on a wall for "privacy". Behind it was a little two person table. That plant was called the "break up bush"

imagine its the last table available for you and your partner and you get all friggin nervous and sweaty headed over to the break up bush and it turns out everything is fine it was just the only table left lol. i feel like some would rather be in the car than the break up bush though hahah.

Keith, I know this was recorded in the past, but going to the dentist high is crazy. I've done it twice before and I was like super focused on what they were doing with my teeth. A plus side is my mouth was obviously pretty dry, so they didn't have to keep using that suction wand thing as much. If you did indeed go to the dentist high, I'd like to hear how it was lmao.
oddly enough I get dry mouth all the time but even if I take a few hits before a dentist appointment, somehow my mouth still generates saliva for them. bodies are so strange! but if someone is nervous about the dentist I highly (pun intended) recommend going high because I just melt right into the chair and treat it like a spa day. glad to hear I am not the only one!

The cringe I felt when Zac posed his shoplift idea. The privilege that even allows a someone to pose that as something fun to do for a camera.
Yeah but it'd be good info to know what stores are easiest to shoplift from 🤔
And they referred to it as "sticking it to the man", but I guarantee that the cost of shoplifted items isn't passed along to shareholders, it's passed back to customers in the form of higher prices.
@@donaldwert7137 idk but I don't think things are not being shoplifted at a rate of a significant loss. They risk loyalty by increasing prices and to some degree they can't depending on the product owner. I think you'd have to have some intense shoplifting to have any prices raised. My boyfriend works at a London drugs that gets stolen from daily because of the at the risk population nearby. No prices change and no wages are affected.

As a criminal law lawyer I’d never advise someone to shoplift, any encounter with the police can turn into jail time or worse. To be honest talking about shoplifting so casually (without thinking of these bad consequences) is a racial and socioeconomic privilege (enjoyed by rich and/or white people and Asian people like me, but not black or brown minorities, especially the men)
The synthesizer is a nightmare for auditory sensory issues, I needed to skip entire chunks of the podcast :(

For the back and ibuprofen - I have gone to a chiropractor since I was 12 and I'm now almost 22. I relied on ibuprofen a lot to where my stomach now rejects it and causes me so much pain. I switched to Tylenol (though it undoubtedly doesn't work as well), heat wraps, and lots of stretching in an attempt to help the pain
Taking Tylenol too often or too much can damage your liver as well ☹️

Yuppp. I also have a stomach condition that they haven’t been able to diagnose. I was told to keep doing what I’m doing (smoking) because it’s the only thing that has helped. It also helps with my insomnia since any sleeping pill I was prescribed either didn’t work or had negative side effects that weren’t worth sleep

honestly Miles, your goal to smoke and drink with intention instead of as a stress reliever is something that I think about all the time
This change was the first step to building healthy habits for me and btw it doesn’t make me enjoy socializing or enjoying content like this where people are having fun.
Eventually I concluded I resorted to alcohol too consistently when I’m stressed and cut it out entirely. I smoke now and then but only if I’m worry free snd just relaxing snd never too much. It’s been working for me really well.
Don’t be afraid. Most of my friends and my spouse all love to party and they have nothing negative about me not partaking and I was someone who knew a lot about and enjoyed (to no one else’s inconvenience) alcohol but it’s easy to reel in your intake and still enjoy them and your life. And seriously I feel like I go out more bc I don’t feel as bad after going out bc I’m not overdoing it. The most surprising and powerful benefit I’ve had though is when I stopped using cannabis to manage stressful situations. I don’t dwell on stress but instead of smoking to remove my ability to worry, I let myself acknowledge and manage it. Then when everything’s cool I can have a little smoke if I’m feeling relaxed. And it’s like a muscle the more I do it the healthier I feel. Anyway just a perspective.
