I think the thing I like most about follower dungeons is it gives you a chance to have a psuedo-real application of a dps dummy, a chance to try out healing/tanking, and a way to test UI elements without forcing others to deal with your shit.
I enjoy the inclusion of follower dungeons purely because it'll give me a chance to explore them at my leisure. I jumped on the expansion late and boy is it jarring to run a dungeon when every player can't let go of their W key.
I’m sure the devs will appreciate it too since they put a good amount of work into designing those dungeons
You're going to love Dawn of the Infinite where every boss has a dozen mechanic half of which aren't even mentioned in the dungeon guide
As someone who has done similar design work I can relate. There is so much detail in these dungeons and the wider world of warcraft that gets overlooked by the rush to level up and ''beat'' content. @@fraser7211

15:52 Regarding the "Dragon Riding" addon, I couldn't find this on WoWUp and it confused me. The mod's actually called "Dragon Rider," which matters since WoWUp's UI requires precise searching.

I like the shiny pet charms being converted to polished pet charms in 10.2.5. Being the first currency that's been merged before the release of war within.
I like them stacking to 5k now

It was pretty boring. Very tame, non-energetic and the rewards were just stuff we already had. Aand it hasn't changed since cataclysm... which was 15 years ago or more.
I find so wild how the are only doing the follower dungeons now, cause other MMOs (like SWTOR) already had this implemented for years.
Honestly the Horde participation on reclaiming Gilneas should be something like them dancing outside the city to boost morale.
FF14 does have follower dungeons, ESO for example doesn't yet. Altho ESO does have the permanent npc companions which will follow you anywhere, any zone, even dungeons. So 2 players and 2 companions can be a dungeon group. You can upgrade their gear and choose their role (tank, healer, dps). Sounds like War Within will have a somewhat similar system with the delves, which a follower will help you in and you can upgrade their gear, altho sadly sounded like they won't follow you outside the delves. Hopefully the follower dungeon system will eventually allow you to add more followers and upgrade their gear etc.

Very happy about follower dungeons and for all of the reasons you mentioned in the video. I like the other things too, but this was one thing that FFXIV did that I was hoping Blizz would do and now we have it. Been playing WoW for 10 yrs. Hated being or feeling forced to run dungeons with toxic people. Now I can enjoy them and try out things like tanking and healing. Yeah!!!
I've been playing WoW for over 18 years and have mostly avoided doing anything that requires being in groups because I'm an introvert who doesn't like awkward interactions with other people. Follower dungeons sound awesome to me since I also don't like soloing dungeons!

Dragonflight is easily the sneakiest expansion WoW has ever put out, in a really good way, and shows a lot of trust that people aren't losing their minds about it.

I'm not sure if this is mentioned anywhere but I do wonder what will happen to druid flight forms in the next expansion. Will they stay static, gain dynamic flight abilities or maybe the ability to toggle between the two? Dynamic speed is awesome but as a druid herbalist I would prefer static when I'm herb farming. The best for me would be one flight form for each, like how rare and epic mount speed used to work
I like that the forsaken are helping reclaim gilneas.
You gotta take into account that there’s been 3 years JUST since the end of shadowlands, much less bfa, or even the invasion of gilneas, and since that time, Sylvanas was ousted as their leader, Calia has joined them as a sympathetic voice, and Genn sent the players to help reclaim lordaeron in secret, but they were discovered and recognized so the forsaken know he helped. (Anyone who reads quest text might remember being told to pass along a message that they’ll help with gilneas)
The forsaken’s help is honestly more just expected at this point
Might be a bit controversial but I am a OG forsaken player, I remember when we had a demon chilling at sylvs side. In my head cannon I have never considered myself "horde", I just do what ensures the survival of the forsaken, if that means burn a tree? Tree burns, if that means help the allys? I help allys. I have no allegiance to anyone in a moral slandered, I consider myself and many forsaken agents of circumstantial preservation that typically aligns with the horde. If today helping the allys is convenient? Well I will be shambling there staff in hand.

that's probably the truest RP of a forsaken character you can get. Most of them are former alliance, since they were humans of lordaeron, and the forsaken never had SUPER strong ties to the horde to begin with. Canonically, theyre the closest to a neutral faction that you could play as. @@Prime_Logos

I have to say, the conversation between Lillian Voss and Tess Greymane, during a certain part of the Gilneas fight, is just about as friendly as two murderous rogues can be, and for that conversation alone I loved doing the reclaiming.

There is, in fact, an Epilogue quest that sends you to Bel'Ameth. Gives a short, but very emotional cutscene too.

I love dragonriding and dragon racing and all things flying dragons. I also use that addon, and it helps out so much! I only wish there was a race timer. that would be so helpful!!
They could've just made the enemy you fight in Gilneas some rogue forsaken faction. Some Sylvanas loyalists who weren't there in Shadowlands and still fully roll with BfA-Sylvanas. That way you still get your capital back from the people who took it in the first place and you give a common enemy for the alliance and horde.

sorry, the forsaken needed the space to store their blight barrels for the assault when they'll catapult them on the city. But they swear it's to help reclaim it for the worgens.
I'm SO excited for follower dungeons. I get to finally test and play around with different class/specs without getting shit for it. T-T

Im really confused. I did the gilneas quest line... but I can't find the new storyline or new zone? Should I still be just farming stupid plants to get Flightstones?
From the perspective of the Forsaken, as a lifelong Undead player, it's actually really nice to get to reap some kind of small redemption by helping to undo part of our mistakes
Follower Dungeons will be really conveniant for someone like me, who barely saw the inside of any dungeon this expansion. I'm using it as a means to catch up with the story.

tbh i dont see them getting the Hybrid classes, i expect when they can be other classes, it will be Priest, Mage, Warlock, Rogue, Warrior, Hunter.
Its interesting that they are fully committed to Major Events being both factions; thats probably more economic or efficient but theres no way they dont understand the friction that can sometimes happen
All of that's ignored completely to gut the war from world of warcraft. The writers today are NOTHING how they were long ago.

Political intrique, class identity, roots of the game, not standing on a pedestal beating a dragon or titan every other expansion or again as I said a.jailor or some other clown in a costume. There are so many better ways to weave stories then this lazy ass way like they pump out marvel movie crap, it gets old, the inside political strifes that worked with your characters and fleshed out their stories that surround you.

do a fresh character and experience cut off at 59, that's about all you can do.

no, it doesnt. or at least wont as of TWW as DF is gonna be the new player experience from now on, rather than BFA. that being said you wanted to do Loremaster without 1 shotting everything, that's what you gotta do. so you gotta decide what matters more to you, not being overpowered or not flying at jet speeds.@@syatek as for turning off XP i hear that gets disabled at 60

Really excited for this patch. Barely checked out any spoilers! Now I just hope I actually get a somewhat enjoyable experience on Argent Dawn EU. Way too many players there and none of them care for immersion, so all I see is mounts.
This seems to have a LOT more stuff than the usual patch that ends in .5! I'm looking forward to playing once the servers come back up. Why is this not called 10.3?

Lolol. My leader-follower tank died flying to the next boss. (I was on my Hunter-not the healer) I was like…feels about right. It’s great because it also gives you a ‘dbm’ call out of things to do or move away from during bosses.

It took me awhile to realize that I had to claim the arborwyrm mount in the launcher. I assumed it was in game in the mount section or in my mail. I guess this is because part of the subscription award also goes to WotLK game as well. So, look at the top of your launcher for the arborwyrm,

OK, I've never been able to get into Worgen. I have one and went through the opening quests back in Cata, and haven't touched it since. I sympathize with the Worgen who dont want Forsaken involved. However, this is how Blizz has been going. Draenei have to accept Eredar back into their ranks, the very members of their species who helped to DESTROY Argus. And yet, theres a short quest where its all "Hey, sure, come back into the fold". And boom, red draenei. So, i do dympathize and understand my Alliance brothers and sisters form gilneas not being happy, but, its also not surprising to see it happen this way
