Well, the lipsync is terrible, the writing is cheesy, the shadows are non existent, the Kong's don't like showing their teeth, Funky is blonde and Candy is Ginger... I fucking love it

Soul-the-Mysterious Sounds about right. I never liked this too much. Shows that are based on Video Games are pretty hit or miss. This could've been really awesome but someone in the studio was too busy trying to create his *own* cartoon show rather than sticking to the source material. Anyway, I'm gonna be doing a review of the first DKC game. It'll be out in the middle of next month. I guess that's why I decided to watch an episode of the Donkey Kong cartoon.

If they had an extended ending where Dixie and funky were talking about Dk's back but still has problems with him. Donkey kong didn't find funky's surfboard, but Funky remembers something he has tons of surfboards

well since the series is based on DK always saving the day and he lets all his close people constantly treat him any kind of way the island would be saved but if this was based with some drama then yes that island belongs to the Kremlings.
also if the Kongs continued with that attitude and if I was DK I would cut them off completely, like he goes out there and saves them and they go off on him over petty things that they see very oblivious to at times. so if he left and said "fuck this" I wouldnt blame him lol
Soul-the-Mysterious Sounds about right. I never liked this too much. Shows that are based on Video Games are pretty hit or miss. This could've been really awesome but someone in the studio was too busy trying to create his *own* cartoon show rather than sticking to the source material.
Anyway, I'm gonna be doing a review of the first DKC game. It'll be out in the middle of next month. I guess that's why I decided to watch an episode of the Donkey Kong cartoon.

This episode is lowkey fucked. DK gets accused and banished for things K. Rool and the Kremlings did. And they only wanted DK back not because they missed him, only because "Oh we need you to defend us." Plus, they never found out K. Rool was responsible. And no one apologizes to DK at all.
If they had an extended ending where Dixie and funky were talking about Dk's back but still has problems with him. Donkey kong didn't find funky's surfboard, but Funky remembers something he has tons of surfboards
