    I've been a fan of the SD-1 since the 80s. I currently use the Waza Craft edition and love it. It just adds the right amount of magic to get you the perfect tone. Besides its name, it's not a simple heavy metal pedal. it's great for all genres of music. With a pedal like this, you can contour your sound, boost for leads, etc. I've always said, Never underestimate the power of a good pedal.

      What's the difference in this and the waza craft?

    • @angusorvid8840
      @angusorvid8840 4 года назад +1

      @@ricksanchezito8972 The Waza has a switch that turns their mod on or off. I like it on, because I feel it adds another dimension of presence, which works well for me as I like to drive Fender amps rather than bright Marshalls.

    Use #3 is exactly what I'm looking for - I've got humbucker guitars going into a Marshall DSL40CR and don't want to add gain, just "tighten up" the flubby bass (or add some gain for a solo boost), I need to try this pedal!

    I’ve been using one since 1984. The C-6 (removal) mod is a good mod if you want less midrange and a more open tone. I use a stock one beside a modded one, for the best of both worlds.

      @@earthstrong-43.72 I think it’s so silly that people rag on Zakk when half of them can’t even play half of the stuff he does. He’s a very well rounded musician who can shred but also can play melodically, and he doesn’t get paid to play pretty solos, he gets paid to rock 🤘

    Nice demo AAAA++++++ SD1 rocks!! If you have a single channel amp like my 66 Fender Bassman mine is modified with a master volume set it to where it is just on the verge of breakup 3.5 to 4 on my amp use the master volume to bring the volume down. Use the SD1 to push the amp over the top set gain to taste and you will get overdrive heaven at a volume you can be in the same room with. I know some really think the master volume mod on an old Bassman is sacrilege if so you also probably think the SD1 is a crap pedal because it cost under $50.00 current price. Well, you are just wrong. :)

    I already have a DS1 but i’m looking for an affordable pedal that can do 4 things. 1st as an overdrive sound that’s less heavy then a Ds1 for some calmer stuff and 2. as clean boost for some more full sounding clean playing. 3rd would be as a boost after my Ds 1 for solos, does it have a big volume boost? 4. also am wondering if I could place it before my Ds 1 with the level down so that when I engage my Ds1 at full level it has a significant volume boost. My main question is does it have a versatile level knob that I can use for dynamics? Are all these things possible? Thanks. Great video by the way!

    I just got one for Christmas. I plug it in the amp and all it does is act like a volume pedal and nothing else. It doesn’t sound like it does on this video. Any guess what could be wrong with it? Also, I don’t have an adapter on it, could that be the problem? Cheers!
