I have two that have been fixed on the same car (daughter's) and I believe it was 3 times. I replaced the gear and glued the top back on as I broke both retainers trying to separate them. So, I have replaced one and fixed the other and replaced/repaired one again. Easy, after the first one....you keep it or the gear and will be able to swap it again in the future. The vehicle is a 2010 cx9 and I am kind of the feeling that my daughter sits on the l switch for a few seconds after it reaches the top. She won't admit to it, so I just live with the repairs.
I appreciate your video. One thing you should know is one of the hard parts of doing a repair is how to take things apart. Meaning the door panel, not knowing where all the latches and screws and bolts or located makes it difficult. Suggest next video that you do include that. Again, I appreciate what you did show.
It does apply to many different models of Mazda vehicles, but I agree, I wish I would have captured the door panel removal.
Does this regulator work for the rear passenger side?

My car window has been pushed down by someone trying to break in over the past couple of months and now my window won’t stay up is this a motor problem or something else?
Hope you figured it out, but I would guess your issue would be the window regulator.
