heeeew, best surf series ever? We love how it's not "all about you" and you really show people you meet! If you want more of the nightlamp, we try to surf Mundaka with it in our "ghost in the shell" episode on the Tube.
I got really lucky one time at rincon where as the sun went down, the full moon was just overhead, so a bunch of us stayed out there well past last light for several hours. The best part, was the moon was positioned just so, that it was directly down the line of the wave, making the barrel refract the light and lighting up the tube like nothing you've ever seen. I highly recommend trying this if you can.
Surfing 4th of July night while fireworks exploded overhead ,Ogonquit Rivermouth,Maine. Full on X-Ray ocean vision when they pop off ,it's truly amazing.
We used to ride lower trestles every full moon when we were teenagers. Once your eyes get used to the low light it's really beautiful and dreamy. One night the left was actually barreling with the low tide and offshore winds, that session still stands out as one of our all time favorites day or night.
Some of the most unique video beauty you'll ever see. Every show has been spectacular, and this first one after the LONG break has been no different. Wow guys.
Great way to start the new season fellas... I've really enjoy all of these since you all first started putting these out...Def captivating footage through and through...Keep up the great work..One Love and Peace
During December my local pier has decorative snowflake lights put up and I always go surfing late at night, after work, which is so fun!! But surfing in this bioluminescence, would be surreal!!
Y'all gotta keep producing these and make this blow up because honestly some of the most entertaining stuff out there. Dylan is an incredible host. It's inspiring and makes me want to get out there right now.
Good stuff indeed the night surf trip.....old night time pier riders from HB know the fun well. Good to see you and Dave making vids again. Keep Shooting !....e..
guys go to switzerland! there's a river you can surf on; it's called Reuss and its in Aargau, Bremgarten. just serch "bremgarten surfing" on google, you'll find it :)
I used to surf Oside pier a lot before I had to be at work at 6am. I first surfed it in H.S in the 80s and my friends dad gave us a great idea I'll share. You burn the end of a wine cork and rub it on your cheek bones( after its cooled off)reduces glare like how athletes will use black paint or tape.Help you see better under the lights glare. It doesn't come off easily its like black chalk.
I have had the best times surfing 2-3 ft The Pass in Byron Bay on a full moon. It was our regular thing back in the day. With the wave breaking in a sheltered shallow bay, we felt protected enough from scary sea creatures and we'd be picking 200-300m waves that during the day would be almost unsurfable due to crowding. We would be hooting each other onto these magical shimmering faces, screaming all the way, feeling truly blessed. Occasionally bioluminescent algae would turn the wake of our surfboards into fluorescent abstract lines jotted on the watery canvas and it genuinely felt like we achieved transcendence. A lot of people called us shark fodder but you know what, if those had been my last moments on Earth I wouldn't have complained.
LOL, no fear of sharks at night on central coast, but definitely wear a mask in the garage... hmmmmmmmmm. Guess it's been a kooky time for all of us, love u guys regardless, glad the best surf series ever is back :)
I surfed the red ride in Montecito years ago and it was like green fire. Paddling encased my hands in flaming green gauntlets. Why is it blue in the video? Is it green in real life but looks blue on video?
One of the best surf series that you don’t have to pay for..
Maybe the best
@@andressanzlinares9669 best for me, and i'd even put it in my list of my top series'
Now you do lol
THE most SoCal marine biologist ever, got so pitted with his gnarly little phytoplankton dudes XD
yeah haha his lingo was not quite academic.
Finally I’m tired of rewatching the old ones d-man
you need to leave the house more bud

the buddy jumping out there on a loaner board in his undies and throwing down a little shred. THE BEST!

Snapper rocks on a full moon is as crowded as most mid summer day beach breaks
Look at the giant CGI dog snuck into the background on the pier at 1:45 hahah. Dylan you're a legend!
Easy my fav show, so stoked to see it come back

one of the best series out at the moment
Those last few minutes of cinematography 👌
Rio de Janeiro, Brasil has a pretty sick night surf scene too at the Arpoador spot. Huge beach lights and NO SHARKS!
at 13:58 i wish all surf videos had this effect. i tripped the fuck out
The algae plankton killing each other cartoon sequence had me laughing so hard
My favorite series fo sure. So much fun to see the world differently.
So stoked for season 3 ! Super inspiring to see you put other people forward, as usual.

That helmet light easily beats my diving flashlight setup..)
Best series ever
Are we going to address the giant dog hiding on the pier at 1:45? I was almost too distracted by Pill Nye to see it

Weird Waves FOREVER!
great job with the music
So nice they named it twice
There is a spot somewhere in Rio De Janeiro with a football light on the break, I was surfing it every possible night.
great episode, thanks
You guys are the weirdest! Welcome to Saint-Petersburg, we got a bunch of weird stuff here!)
Massive, how cool was that. 👍👍

Look up “VIP Lemonade” on Spotify, the music from all the episodes are there 🍋🍋🍋
Just realized season 3 isn’t up yet but I hear it’ll be up soon...
this is so cool I wish i could do this sometimes
Love this. Thanks!!! Yew
I think this is my favorite short film. It was shot and edited so well too. Hollywood is a joke compared to this.
Finally your back!!
This was so Good! More pretty please.
letsgooooo!!!!!!!!!
Shoutout Shell Beach
Phenomenal !
The dog at 1:46 hahahah
So Good
Gonna stop myself and finish the rest of the series after ingesting 3 grams of shrooms. So stoked I came across this series!!
You guys should come to montreal for an episode
I've never thought about it but it would make a lot of sense that a marine biologist surfs
LOL, no fear of sharks at night on central coast, but definitely wear a mask in the garage... hmmmmmmmmm. Guess it's been a kooky time for all of us, love u guys regardless, glad the best surf series ever is back :)
The sound of stoke! You guys hooting and laughing tells the real story.
Awesome :)
Congrats 🎩🎩🎩🎩👏👏👏👏😍😍😍😍
1:47 There's a giant dog on the pier. Run for ur lifes!
I'm so down to try that night lamp setup at a beach break like La Jolla shores... but at the cliffs and with all that kelp?? nah
I surfed the red ride in Montecito years ago and it was like green fire. Paddling encased my hands in flaming green gauntlets. Why is it blue in the video? Is it green in real life but looks blue on video?
Can be blue or green bro
Then I use the neoprene cap with a compartment for a waterproof diving light! Much better! The future of surfing now is in Kelly Slater's hands!
