Weird Waves never ceases to impress me, my gosh! What a nice episode, cried on the Mom's part... Just sublime and beautiful. And Dylan always spreading wholesome words out
Got to meet James, by chance earlier because I went in his shop. Very cool and knowledgeable guy. Had to look up tanker surfing, because I saw a poster on my way out. Very nice!!
We have a wave in DEEP MEX that breaks in a lagoon and named it Coco's which is short for Crocodiles. The wave reforms after huge south swells surge in from the jetties.
This made my day. I was lucky to see Step Into Liquid on the big screen when it first released. Being born in Texas, I was always intrigued by tanker surfing. I'm so happy to see the stoke alive and well. Glad you caught some great ones and those sandwiches looked awesome! 🤌
There's another, crazy wave on the ship channel that looks awesome but no one has ridden (that i know of). When the OSVs and crewboats hit the end of the channel by the east end, N of the jetties, and really crank it up or before they slow down, I've seen their wake make a giant tube that peels down the south bank of the ship channel, not the island, the channel itself. It looked crazy and really fast and the sand bank that created it may not be there anymore cause it's been about 15 years since i lived there but i always wanted to get closer and see if it was rideable
10 minute wave???? My longest wave was at either Lower Trestles, or Terramar in Carlsbad. Well over 1 minute each with about a million cutbacks and a few barrel sections.
Was gona coment on Dylan getting left hanging at 5:44 ..but that last section on Mom,s wave with the dolphins was pure art perfection..if that didnt get you, check your pulse )...What was in the sandwiches at the end?
The vibes and stoke in this episode are incredible
Yeah man 🤙
