That probably makes sense why some Sellers like myself didnt recieve an email ,because of not sending parcels to Australia . l am still keeping everything crossed though.
its downright incompetance that they send a blanket email to everyone , if they had explained it was just for items sent to one country, it wouldnt have caused such a huge amount of worry for so many people. yet again ebay prove how out of touch they are & how bad they are at communicating, in an age of easy communication
why do ebay make it sooo hard? you are right, its nonsense that they couldnt just be straight up with the cost and reason. i can imagine the ppl in the call centre like, what are they doing, they leave us in the crap, and dnt tell us what to tell ppl, (iv a friend who works in that type of industry, taking failed payments, and they will have their website, under construction,(theyll do wrk on the system, during office hrs, instead of at end of day) and so their literal only job, to take ppls money, when payment was not taken, and they cnt do it, and their always banging their heads at the wall! like who's idea is this?) Like the detective work Simon, can count on you to get to the bottom of it!!!
Hi guys, many thanks for the videos. I have another thing come up on my account. Newly listed items put on 2 weeks ago are still showing 30 days, the countdown does not seem to be working. Also I have noticed no views or watchers on these items. Has anybody else had this problem.
Yeah that’s not right is it. Sounds like either a reporting issue on those items or a visibility issue or something. Definitely worth taking up with ebay and will be interesting to hear if anyone has experienced this.
Funny how ebay can take money out of our sellers accounts yet when a buyer received item after you have refunded them for inr then it turning up not long after, ebay cannot take the money out of buyer's account! Just a joke. They only look after themselves, selfish.
EBay earns fees when they take money from sellers. Up until February this year, they don’t earn fees from buyers. Now that’s about to change, maybe this will too 🤷🏻♂️
the people who make the decisions not just ebay but in everything are just looking at the bottom line, these people have never sold anything on ebay, or managment in large companies, they never had to buy or use the product or system so they have no clue. useless
Ebay have been rattled on how popular Vinted is, so much so to the point of starting to copy their business model. I sell on both but Ebay have shot themselves in the foot with their continued poor decisions lately. I will sell on Vinted and leave bay.
ebay need to start remembering who they are and why their users loved them. Yes adapt and make things better, bring in new features and keep up with technology. BUT, they’ve over complicated it so much and they’ve been getting told that for a number of years now. Vinted comes along with a simple structure and eBay now hides all the things that they’ve spent years telling us are really important (best offer/promotion/promoted listings/item specifics etc).

Is it just business sellers getting these emails, charges now?
Not sure but private sellers can use GSP so expect it might affect them too
