You can also overdub on each individual track. If you choose to erase the last additional recording, instead of pushing the two pedals at the same time to erase the track, push and hold down the play/record pedal only. when it flashes, the last recording is erased. Keep in mind that there are many variations which will have you decide if you want to change tracks on "immediate," or "Loop end." Loop end will allow you to push the next track and immediately after your first track is finished, the next track will start. The beat/rhythm will be perfect timing where as "Immediate." if you push the pedal early or late. your rhythm timing will be off.
Hi great video quick question I bought the RC300 so I could record my midi piano into it but I can't find a video anywhere showing how to set it any help is much appriciated thanks for the great video
Use the audio out from whatever sound generator you’re using (could be the keyboard itself), run into the rc300 via audio input. As far as midi control from the unit out - still working on that :) syncing together with Ableton is my jam
Awesome vid, cool about the levels. But how do I transition to a different to part of the song. Is there a quick way to swap onto previously saved tracks?
Hey Sean. I set my tracks for "single track Play, ON and\ change "Immediate, to "Loop end," using the "memory button." select each individual track, setting them at "Loop," not " One Shot," and I play, let's say G,D.C chord sequence on track 1 and stop. I will play, say, the chorus on the 2nd track and stop. Track 1 will continue to loop so you only have to play G,D.C once. When you are ready to switch to track 2, push the pedal and after track one is finished it will automatically go to track 2... and vice versa. same with track 3 if you add that.
I like the simplicity of this I’m wondering if you can start/stop/rec as easily on the new rc600 or if you have to press a track select button to move between tracks .
