I literally just got done changing this today thanks to your video. I do have to say tho, I didn't notice the part didn't come with any nuts so I had to make a run to the parts store. A little bit of a inconvenience but still got it done.

May want to specify somewhere that this is applicable only to the 4WD models. The 2WD models unfortunately have a different design that requires significantly more disassembly.

I recently bought a 2006 Rav4 4wd 4 cylinder, while cruising on the highway suddenly the ABS lights turned on along with the check engine, VSC, ABS and airbag warning lights.
    The obd scanner showed 5 errors regarding the ABS. The errors are C0200 , C1201 , C1223 , U0123 , U0124 , U0126
I tried changing the ABS module, but the same codes kept on showing!
Are the wheel speed sensors bad in my case ? And is cleaning/changing them going to solve my issue ?

I ripped my wires out when using a slide hammer to get the hub off. A $65 mistake. Make sure you take it easy with a slide hammer. They work a little too well.

Can anyone answer this, can this cause the slip indicator, vsc, abs and brake light being on? The lights always turn off when I change my rotors but comes back on slightly after. Is that caused by these sensors? Thanks

I cleaned my maf sensor and airfilter and put a cataclean fuel cleaner in and mine went off, a few weeks later it returned, im being told its possible o2 sensor, the vsc/abs lights can show up when the system detects a fault even if its with an o2 sensor, the toyota will dissable the vsc system, meaning you cant use cruise controll, abs or 4x4.
If this doesn't solve your issue then do a full brake system bleed, if still nothing, then its master cylinder and if still your having issues its the dreaded super expensive ABS module 😢

+rajiny navaratnasingam We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c

+Helevatic Thanks for watching! Like diagnosing most electrical issues on modern vehicles, you will need to utilize an OBD-II code reader to zero in on which sensor needs replacing.

I've got a 2010. Tried 3 different ODBII readers and all said the car was perfectly fine. And yet the dashboard was lit up like Christmas tree. Took to a dealer, they charged $135 for diagnostic and told me I needed to replace this sensor on driver side. They wanted another $650 for the job which is where I told them tk have a nice day and came here. I've replaced these sensors on several previous cars and still somewhat surprised that the reader didn't pick up the code on this one 😕
