    Holy field is the strongest man I have ever seen in the ring... Louis can't receive these punched and still be stable like him. Holy field is naturally strong. I love this man. I wish to see him before I die. I will name my son after him. But Louis is also the most intelligent boxer of all time, to my perception.❤❤❤. Both are great

    Lenox Lewis is a good jabber! The jab deceives you. What to worry about as a boxer is what follows after the jab. The knock out can follow if you don't protect yourself.

    • @moaningpheromones

      Lennox could do damage just with a heavy jab, so in his case it's a big problem by itself.

    The calmness and composure of Lewis is making him great. No show off is his quality making him different from others. His skills and power are rarely found and he has the advantage of having all that .

    Memories of how hard Lewis could be to watch if you're British.
    He may be one of the greats (Holyfield too of course) but he usually gave the impression he was only in it to do just enough, if not asleep entirely. How many matches did he leave too close in fickle hands of unreliable judges when he could have won at the canter?

  • @carlm.m.5470
    @carlm.m.5470 6 лет назад +21

    That referee appeared to be determined to keep Holyfield from being close in on Lennox. Holyfield needed to be in close and past the longer reach of Lewis to be able to make exchanges. That ref ended up being too much of a factor.

    I thought this fight was closer than the first. The Brits like a boxing match while the Americans like a fight, so very often appearances count for a lot. Lennox's jabs count for less in the States than Evanders rushing in with wild swipes. Also Lennox seems always to break and then stand with his arms by his side while Evander has his arms up and is bouncing about. I think Lennox won the first fight by a good margin, maybe these judges felt a little embarrassed about the first result.

    rewatched this fight with the sound off. Lewis used his jab and uppercuts well. Lewis may have won one or two of the first three, but holyfield out worked him from the 4th to the 10th rounds easily winning those rounds thru aggression and accurate leaping hooks to the head and body, uppercuts and jabs to the body. I think holyfield out landed Lewis in the last round. Lewis was countering but not striking first. IMO holyfield won but the fight was close.

    Holyfield was a blown up heavyweight he had been a dominate cruiserweight his early career the best ever, so thise he foufht ar heavyweight and beat was feat all in itself...... but when it came to Foreman, Lewis and Bowe were much bigger than Evander by weight at around 20-30 lbs heavier and 2-3 inches in height disadvantage and he still gave them hell at an okder age....37 yrs old in this fight.....other than Ali...Evander was the purest boxer ever.

    This fight was way closer than I remember, and I remember it being close. My memory says it was close but Lewis definitely won, but after watching again man it was really close. I wouldn't want to call this fight.

      He didn't need to butt. He was a great fighter but ruined his legacy through butting.
