- Here's an extra treat for you guys to help you kill that isolation boredom! These marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats are THE easiest thing to make, and THE most delicious thing to eat! You can add whatever you like to these to jazz them up a bit like chocolate chips, pretzels, sprinkles....! Make sure to tag your Instagram photos with #cupcakejemma so we can all see how you made yours!

60g Butter
A good pinch of Salt
150g White Marshmallows
125g Rice Krispies (puffed rice cereal)
Whatever you want to add! I used 2 tbsp Sprinkles and some extra White Marshmallows.

love the idea of using browned butter! as a rule of thumb, I always double the amount of marshmallows called for on the box. it makes for ultra gooey rice krispies that stay gooey over time! (they usually become rock hard by day 2 with the regular recipe)

Hi Sally! I am so addicted to watching you and Jemma make absolutely wonderful treats and cakes! Rice Krispy treats reminds me of time with my mom when I was little ... I remembered that when it was cool enough to handle, we used our hands to incorporate and press the mixture into our molds! Sticky but so much fun! I could see using those pastel color marshmallows 🤔 I think that would be rather pretty! Thank you to all of you at C&D! You make me want to start baking from scratch again! I know that my husband and daughter won’t mind 😉❤️🧁🍪🍮

When I was a child, a neighbourhood friend’s mom used to make these with fruit loops instead of rice crispies.

Used to make something similar by melting fun size mars and snickers bars then mixing them with the rice cereal. Soooo good!
Not the same. Way too gooey and sweet if candy bars are used. Nope.

That looks fantastic! Where do you buy rice crisps in Spain? I tried with the rice cakes from Lidle but the result wasn't optimal at all.

Hello, I have a question about another video/recipe... Is it really necessary to use as much sugar as flour for sponge cake? What do I have to do if I want to use less sugar, do I have to reduce or increase other amounts of ingredients in the recipe? Or can I just leave out some sugar without paying attention to anything?
