During the filming of Part 2, I found that the Adaptive brightness does not work. Fimi states the Display Brightness is only adjustable manually. Which leads me to believe that it may be an Android 9 option not implemented. Anyone have other ideas?
I have found very few issues with this controller to date. I therefore have to be cautious. Nothing is perfect out of the box.

Great guide to getting started with the new TX 10 smart controller. It seems like it's very full featured and nice upgrade for you Fimi X8 SE 2022 or later. Thanks for sharing.
I have since been in touch with Fimi. After Part 3.. Fimi states the Adaptive Brightness is a mistake and will be removed (non functional) .. Also the (N) locator in the Orientation diagram will be added in next update and I am yet to get solid answer as to if the TX10 has in fact a Magnetometer.. The TX10 is not very customizable. The rear 2 buttons have limited use and because of their location are easily activated unintentionally. The brightness adjustment seems almost to be all or nothing. Meaning the brightness at the lowest level is what most would call 60% and then basically 100%. I would not install the Google Play Store App as it could erroneously load unwanted Apps. - APK delivery is the best way to load an APP on the system. But as a basic Remote Control Unit, it is very nice. No cables, no additional holder, more robust and super bright. Even though some do not understand the ranking of these videos (part1, part 2, part 3 etc) I will continue to add Part # as a sequence of discovery along the journey.👍💪

Hi, thank you for the very good video on setting up the Fimi TX10 controller. Remote ID will use Bluetooth. I tested the HDMI output using my Epson Bt-35e smart glasses. HDMI works well. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the screen capture app to display in English. If you figure it out let us know what you did. Overall, I am very impressed with the TX10. It is a much more capable controller than the DJI RC controller IMO. People need to be warned that doing an Android Factory Reset will remove the Fimi NAVI 2.0 app.

HI, ive just purchased the TX10A controller for my Fimi X8 2022 V2 drone..................Question: can you adjust the EV value from the TX10A, there is a button for this on the original controller........I hope this feature is available on the TX10A!
Page 9 of the manual. Item 31 - roller - right side. Is customizable in App settings as well. As far as I know it's the same as the TX10.
What could I be doing wrong with binding craft with controller?
It's not like I don't know we're the bind button is and the 2 buttons on the tx10..
The app in controller has updated but I can't bind I've tried with 2 VS so far?
Without a clear idea of your procedure I'm kinda in the dark.
I can't see out the screen of mine that just came in it's just a garbled mess. Colors lights interference looking stuff. Almost no visual
You may have to re flash the whole unit.. but definitely contact Fimi Support.
While I'm here. Any idea how to register this I see no usable remote id. Does the x8 se have a legal remote id? And yeah the screen doesn't do it on the x8 pro just when I try it on the x8. Which it came with the x8 2022 bundle go figure it work on the one it didn't come with@@GorillamansGarage
Did anyone ever use the controller with 4G connection? And how does the drone receive the signal?
The 4G is for your SIM card (phone) to get internet info outside. I do not use one. It is not 4G connectivity for the drone.

The controller is $299usd retail... but there are deals here and there. The X8Se2022 ranges from $419 (V1) to $499 (V2) and again... there are variances.
If they package this controller with the fimi x8 se 2022 v2 or something even better I will buy. I do not want to pay for the old controller.
I agree. I can see future fimi drones being sold separately..
Unfortunately you still can't get a bundle of the TX10 with the drone. I too don't want to get another controller that I have to use with a phone, so i'll not be buying a TX10 any time soon, and might have to go to other manufacturers for my next drone.
@@charlestoast4051 the tx10 is supposed to work with their next gen drones as well. We shall see.
