Hi Steve, good review of the TX10. The button on the right of the mode switch will turn the drone lights off and on. Precision landing works 100% of the time if a ROUND landing pad is used. Fimi will eventually offer a Fimi Assistant app that will let the TX10 receive FPV from a Fimi X8 SE 2022 that is controlled by another TX10. Kind of like the Autel Live Deck.

Looks like they done a very good job on design and function. Personally I really like the size and display. I think this controller should be a standard design for every drone manufacturer instead of a afterthought.

I took delivery of the TX10 yesterday and made a first flight with it. 330 US Dollars from RC Going. In my opinion it is good value, first impressions being very favourable. It feels solid and well made. I had alternating bright sunshine and passing thick clouds but setting the display to adaptive brightness maintained a totally viewable display. I also found that the range the drone could achieve was better than with the stock controller. Overall I concur with Steve, it is an excellent product.
Friend, what drone do you use it with because it says that the distance it covers is 10 km and the Pro model says that it reaches 15 km that makes it compatible

Fimi TX -10 Controller is too cool…. I wish DJI some day will lunch a smart Controller like this one so that I can use with my Mavic pro.

It sounds great, as I have a 2022 Fimi that I think is sweet for the price.
They do have regular hooks that screw onto the gimbal connector and then you just snap your neck list or whatever on it

Have to by drone seperate bit it helps keeps costs down if you don't have the money
@@Cmensailing I understand that and they can keep selling the same white controller but it will be nice if there is an option like in the case of DJI that sells also a combo with the smart controller.

You didn't check the AI function. I believe the TX10 does not contain a compass module, so the AI gadget will never show the orientation of the RC to the drone, which, for me, is a serious shortcoming.

Show us what you can do with the HDMI output! Does it give "clean HDMI" image in 16:9 1080P at 30 fps?
Reason why it's missing landing pad I think it's because you you fly away so fast, drone had no chance to mark start position 🤣
If I push start wait few second when it's over landing pad before I fly away.
It would recognize the pad, I know you don't have time for that 😉

I think it's awesome? It's definitely bright enough as well. I'm impressed with this company? It just looks like it's made of that cheap plastic? I could be wrong, it's not like I have one.

That's why nobody should use a iPhone for flying in sunlight.Other phones dont dim the Display down
Nice review cap 👍🏾it would be cool if they could put the tech this radio has in a pair of fpv gogs 1080p at 10k!!!! That's some range and put the drine camera and hardware in a fpv quad🤔 something tells me they could've been done this and dji wouldn't have been the only HD gogs and set up on the market lol its the same concept as video game consoles....they give us just enough so that they can keep selling us more products instead of giving us the best in the first place lol....however if this radio can get a beautiful image like this why couldn't a pair of goggles???? 🤔😁👍🏾✌🏾
You would think for a device designed to be used outside, it would just come with a matte finish screen to avoid the glare issue.
First thing I would get is a antiglare matte screen protector to put on the screen.
Fimi does it again…another superior product to add on to their superior drone…bright screen and antennas for extended range unlike the subpar dji mini 3

HDMI out does exactly that. Connect goggles, connect a monitor, connect a recording device, your choice.
I have a problem switching from video to photo during the flight
People getting this must be in the lower level of consumers cuz the fact you must scroll to change zoom is brutal for anyone like myself creating video footage😊
Hi Captain DJI are working hard to get the price low by reducing the option....But you want them to make a better screen controller... Anyway I don't like the screen controller as we can have great resolution screen on nowadays mobile or tablet...of course you will tell me that you can do other things with your phone.....

It does not work with any DJI products
Just looks like the yuneec Q500 controller and the yuneec typhoon h controller has a bigger screen
I believe the Yuneec Q500 controller is now in the Smithsonian Museum. That tech is about 10 years old now.

I have had my TX 10 for over six months now and have been extremely happy with it.
My only gripe is that I can't use many of the auxiliary controls, they either don't work with the drone at all or have a grand total of one option. I would love to be able to use the knobs to zoom the camera and the map. (the flush mounted button Is quite difficult to hold down While using the zoom dial )Now I know they're supposed to be a receiver model to use in aircraft / helicopters But that along with the auxiliary battery don't seem to be available.

How come I only get 1.2 km om my fimi 2022? Even in the country I only get 1.2 km before loose connection.

My only option is to find an old phone or tablet :(
I would caution against buying other FIMI products. as it seems that they will drop support without a second thought to customer needs.
That’s a pretty good looking controller with a lot of features. If they make it work with other drones they’ll have a major winner.
Since it is android and he said you can install other apps, I wonder if you could install Litchi and use it with a DJI drone, assuming one wished to fly a DJI product.

Hello Captain, I'm just wondering because I can't see a single conparison between the Fimi X8 SE 2022, and DJI Mini 3 Pro because I'm thinking of what to choose would it be possible to have a comparison between the two? or maybe compare a different drone that can go with or even better than a DJI Mini 3 Pro. I don't really have to worry about the weight since I live in the Philippines and according to regulations as long as its below 7kgs(15lbs) I dont have to worry about registering it and stuff so yeah. The reason there are no comparisons is because no one compares an under 250 gram drone to an over 250 gram drone. Mini 3 pro has much more technology in it than the FIMI.

Why the hell didn't Fimi put a matt screen on their TX10?
It's around $350 and doesn't work with anything BUT a single drone of questionable quality. It is a niche, of a niche, in a niche, of niche products. Is there a single person who's watched this video that would want to run out and buy this? The odds aren't good. :\
No, because the only compatible drone is only OKish...good reliable flyer but videos and photos don"t look great and apart from SAR none of the "automated" features work reliably (dronie, panoramas, etc..). Had to see my X8 2020 because of that and I got a used MP1 Platinum instead.

Yes, you can connect to your home wifi as well as the wifi from your cell phone

Hello Captain Drone . There's a New Fimi X8 Pro Drone and are you going to Test if you have the drone. Can You Test It in Level 8 High Wind . Reason why I'm asking is bcoz I just lost my Fimi X8 Se V2 in Level 7 High Wind in 100ft (30m) . It's a Good Drone but The Level 8 Wind Resistance is Big ?????? , Thank You ..
When it is really windy out, every drone gets blown around, and if a drone starts to have no ability to make headway into the wind, it is time for Sport Mode. Normally I end up with new FIMI products, so you may see one in the future if one of the companies sends one my way.

is the fimi x8 v2 stable in hovering? like dji?
Honestly out of the hundreds of drones I have reviewed, nothing is as stable as a DJI drone when hovering, but some come very close. All FIMI models wander up and down a bit in hover state.

Oh, the FIMI controller is way better (much brighter screen), but it is large to house the large battery and tons of switches and cooling system. If you want portability then a tiny drone like the Mini 3 Pro requires a tiny controller in hand.

Well it is an HDMI out, so anything that accepts an HDMI IN signal would probably work.

Please tell me if the fimi x8 se 2022 V2 drone is an excellent drone with remote control with display (which is better than DJI in image resolution) I know that the fimi does not have the obstacle bypass but it costs in combo with this remote control 729.00 us which is much cheaper than the DJI by far. You have tested this drone so tell me please

Is this TX10 more visible in the sun than DJI's RC+ controller? In this case, it would be worth considering buying the FIMI mini instead of the DJI Mini 3 Pro. The TX10 should only work with FIMI - unfortunately.
Not compatible with the mini and nothing announced at this point so don't count on it !

The TX10 has a brighter screen than the DJI MINI 3 RC controller, but the two drones are incompatible with each other.
