I actually agree, but nowadays upgrades are so similar to predecessors that ppl mostly just change the battery out . At least if one knows the battery health then they know roughly when to change battery, I will be changing battery on mine between the 80 and 90% mark, which is in and around the region of the phones 3rd birthday
No the best App is Accu-Battery , am using it since 2021 and it works fine with Samsung . And its pretty useful in many monitoring case from capacity degradation to health of your batteries

My honor X5 plus got updated to MagicOS 8/ Android 14 and my Vivo y03 is currently running Funtouch OS 14/Android 14. My next phone will be the Galaxy A06, because I don't see flagships and upper mid range phones that impressive anymore
people with older Android, if you're just wanna know if good or not then you may have heard the app called cpu z, it has that info too... no extra app needed, in battery section it already shows if battery health is good or bat, voltage, mah etc
My secondary phone is samsung s9 and it's been in use since past 5 years and still works like brand new. And have seen iphone users after one year of usage. Battery health drops down to 85%
You can also charge your phone upto 100% and divide the capacity by designated capacity to check the percentage, Simple and better, btw dont worry about it, Mine has 95.2% health after 2~2.5 years of heavy usage
this app doesn't need to undergo 5-10 battery charging cycles to exactly say how much battery capacity left.. also accu battery has not been accurate to me.. i just use root and check battery capacity from root

Who told you that Android does not have a battery health %? I am using OnePlus 11 for last 4-5 months and it shows battery health as same as iPhone in battery settings
I tried it... and gave it all shady permissions including developer options, wireless & USB debugging (idk why it needed both), also third party device pairing (again shady). At the end, it still did not work. I did all this just to confirm that he always sells shady apps. I can now begin to vouch for this as an Android developer.
It works, those permissions aren't shady. Android by default does not allow apps to access this information. The Shizuku app requests device information which requires the Wireless Debugging permission and turns it into an API so other apps like aBattery can provide you with the information in a readable format. How can you claim to be a "Android Developer" yet you don't know this or figure out how to make it work?
