A common upgrade in my computer repair shop is improving cooling! Today we have a spicy custom built 900lb ASUS ROG case filled with delightful hardware that we're going to cool with an ASUS ROG RYUJIN III 360.
Along with the actual upgrade, this video also demonstrates the worst part of owning a computer repair shop, which is time constraints. Being rushed with a deadline leads to making stupid mistakes like installing the fans in backwards.

11:25 THE GREATEST GRAPHICS CARD THAT'S EVER LIVED
What graphics card?
@@THAT1ZELDAFAN the rtx 4090 in question
it's a 0% transparent variant so you won't see it, but "The greatest technician that's ever lived" guy will see it.
the greatest graphics card that's ever been taken...
LUPE!
It was faulty so I replaced it for free
BRUH I FCKING LOST IT WHEN THE DUDE SAID "WHERE'S MY GRAPHICS CARD" 🤣🤣🤣
Same here!!!!
Oh I must not have heard him. I hope he finds it soon

@@SalemTechsperts maybe - but this one was the PUREST!
i wish success to you in doing full length videos, as it's clear they dont gain as much traction as your shorts but they're so much more interesting to watch.
Thank you! I enjoy making them so much more than the brain-rot!
Better than spending 69420$ for Asus fixing an issue unrelated to the overheating.
Warranty claim denied : there's a scratch around the upper left motherboard tray screw hole. That'll be 278$+tax+shipping to fix it.
Lol I have the same case with a 9900K with no issues your dumb bitching denied 😂
Literally nothing goes wrong with any of the ASUS stuff the guy even takes the ROG card because he knows there GOD TIER or anything about warranties and you two have to put a negetive spin on shit ……. Your bitching card has expired Autismos
That’s tame compared to some of the horror stories I’ve heard, I used to be a huge asus fanboy for years. I’m seriously thinking about modifying my new build and axing all asus components before I buy.
tbh thats more of a fault of your incompetent congress and lobbyists working for companies. united states has shit consumer laws when it comes to RMA and/or warranty. and middle management in every company working for bonuses tied to least amount of $$ spent/earned on warranties etc. And asus is not the only one that does this shit in case you are not following actual news and not just getting your news on youtube. i have had Gigabyte and MSI try to pull the same bullshit in my country but due to my country having consumer laws that companies dont want to mess with unless they want million dollar fines they cave quickly when you mention the national consumer council will be your next stop
as someone that has dealt with pc hardware for better part of 2 decades asus is actually the manufacturer i have had the least trouble with( so not a fanboy either i pick what suits my specifications best). just be sure to meticulously document the state of something before you send it in and the packaging it was sent in. and in my country all manufacturers are liable to send you packaging(if you do not have the original boxing) and pay for the shipping of RMA's as its part of warranty procedure
It was an ordinary day, I was walking down the stairs, i tripped and tumbled down. My brutally mutilated kneecaps ceased to function correctly, my legs couldn't be legs for 2 days.
Get well soon
RIP
Shoutout to your family

Shoutout to you for making it out of that horrible accident

When you put the fans the wrong way at 5:18, I was like "hold up wait a minute," then 10:27 happened
Getting your rig back without your graphics card is the tech equivalent of waking up missing a kidney
2:01 : Dang! That's a high throttle!
11:14 I like how the ram isn't even in the right DIMM slots for dual channel
Even if you dont need to water cool, a prebuild water cooler is easy to install and will always keep the temperature lower than an air cooler, increasing the lifespan of any cpu
I am on 14900k with NH-D15 and it runs just fine . Get a beefier cooler when you have a volcano inside ur case .
I'm running a R9 7950X with a NH-D15 with twin fans strapped on top (120mm front & 140mm in the mid) and my CPU is always running cool.
This damn air tower has been on the market for ages and this relic still works fine on most CPUs.
@@EpicRivers1 That's the NH-D9L which in a 92mm fan tower cooler and for whatever reaon the 120mm fans are the slim 15mm ones not the regulat 25mm
Dude you missed the opportunity to put lupe on that aio lcd screen
6:33 That’s what She said 😂
Well, considering Intel 13th and 14th gen iSeries processors will automatically cook themselves without or with intervention it doesn’t matter what you do.
The greatest technician needed a reboot at 0:40 😂
Graphics Card? You mean Greetings Card
Amazing intro, asks us how's it going and then promptly tells us he *doesn't care* 😭
Great video once again, TGTTEL!
(honestly that customer should've used a Noctua L9i to help with the overheating issues, no need to switch to AIO 🙏)
Damn the roasts hit so good when they're from the GrEaTeSt TeChNiCiAn ThAt'S eVeR lIvEd
3:53 is no one gonna talk about that thing 😆😂
this is where the superpowers of the best technician who ever lived come from😂
i was linke what in the Home Alone🤣
That intro is why i subbed from your FB reels, never fails to make me laugh
Thanks Liam! I appreciate that!
Never thought working on a PC and installing a toilet could have so much in common
11:21 bro thought he's gonna get back the gpu 😂
Just for future advice,I don't know if this applies to this video. But when you use x-1 fan extensions, make sure it only has a pwm wire to 1 fan, or you'll run into occasional random fan ramping because the signal overlap
10:54 wtf are those sus sounds

Keep up the entertainment! Not a techie but it’s nice to see someone take their day job and make it fun.
Did I just saw " idiocracy " over there 1:17 😁
Yes!
when you use the Thermalright cpu contact frame you can actually air cool it...I do it myself lol. I use a Thermalright phantom spirit 120 evo....$50.
I lost it at the first seconds with the "emphasis on G" lol
I had that same ROG case and it was painful to do a build in, as beautiful as it was 😭 I got a Be Quiet Base Pro 901 and never looked back.
I love this newly found channel
This is a bios issue related to the i9 14th and 13th gen CPUs. The fix is to lower max voltage and limit pcore/ecore if still unstable. Should update bios and reset the setting first.
Lots of material online about this as Intel finally acknowledged the issue recently. Has plagued my systems causing crashes randomly on highly specific cpu operations. This fault permanently damages CPUs. My 14900k cannot run stock settings now.
thats just crazy. intel is a joke now
I got the same case but in black.
So for the first time I got a size reference and man you weren't joking when you said "Tiny Racoon Hands".
They might be tiny but you're the coolest racoon around!
That is a NH-D9L, which does indeed support the 19-14900K. More than likely that CPU needs to be RMA'd, which is a very common occurrence with the 13 and 14 series i9s
Love from India
I love your videos brother❤❤
You should try Shartdic AIO cooler. It's the number 1 best AIO coolers in the world.
That was my other machine!
Cable Management of this PC is ON POINT at the beginning.
0:40 THE GREATEST TECHNICIAN THATS EVER LIVED
For nearly 20 years I've been using a laptops for my gaming computers. When my last one started to go I said that would it was finally time to upgrade to a desktop. That didn't happen and I got another laptop. When I see machines like this I'm kinda glad I stuck with laptops. I hope mini pcs will soon catch up and maybe I can go to one of those one of these days.
I would never trust this guy to touch my computer
That's funny, I don't remember anyone asking.
@@2K-Tan Haha, I don't remember asking for your opinion either. Stay focused on your channel, and don't be shy to ask me to subscribe, haha.
I've had an extremely similar build hit my bench not too long ago in that same exact case, that friggin thing weighs a ton
Dude, I’ve had 2 more come in since this! We are basically body builders at this point.

The long form videos are where it's at. I like watching the back and forth between you guys.
watching Salem Techsperts at 5am goes crazy

Tbh 12%throttle with that small cooler is impressive
7:30 dude didn't "screw in with confidence"
You say it’s miserable but i wouldn’t mind working in that shop with you two! That place feels like heaven especially compared to some of the shit heaps I’ve worked at in the past 😂 😂 - if I ever come to the us again I’ll make it a point to drop by your store to drop off my mums toothbrush for your collection 😂 😂
should i ever ask myself why i subscribed to your channel, this video will remind me. I enjoyed this video a lot!
The ending is peak
a slightly better Noctua Air-cooled HS, one with a push pull dual fan config (to push more sweet air though those fins) could probably handle the beast that is the 14900k.. but given the overall ASUS theme to the rest of the build.. the AIO is understandable
Legend has it that this customer now uses integrated graphics
the greatest receeding hairline thats ever lived.
We all make mistakes even the greatest technician that ever lived. The thing is tho he realizes his mistakes before he finishes the project
11:25 MIGHT be the greatest gpu to EVER live
Can you believe it, I am from Iraq, I follow you, and I love your content 🇮🇶❤️
I have I9 13900k which is the same with a air cooler Noctua u12a I’m getting 33c idles and underload 65c-75c gaming. The thermal throttle is set on bios 90c with a undervolt -0.50+ power limit Intel spec CB23 38k. The AIO would still hit 100c no matter what if you don’t make some changes on the bios.
CUSTOMER: WHERE IS MY GRAPHICS CARD
ST: DUDE THAT'S YOUR PAYMENT.....
That board and build deserves an open loop system.....
Hope that 14th gen K is not one of the cooked ones. 😬

The “14900K” stands for the average temp in Kelvin of the processor when air cooled
thank you for the longer videos, would love LONG laptop teardown and put back together videos :) showing everything with commentary as you go :)
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoy it.
09:45 i laughed ass off 😂😂😂😂😂
Is that Intel of 14th generation that have been failing at a massive scale? Also the 13th gen.
1:27 bro is about to explode with the recurring joke
*if you swap the ilm, make sure you save the og one because it is needed for warranty
I'm absolutely sure that tiny little noctua cooler kept choking on the amount of heat the cpu gives until the greatest technician that's ever lived saved its little life 😅
100C is the new normal
Learning so much from the greatest technician that’s ever lived!!! 😮
10:34 i was waiting for that line since the start of the video 😂😂😂
????????
This is the first full video I have seen of yours and I'm dying this shit is hilarious
First two seconds=my kind of guy.
you dont necessarily have to go water cooled...... with a 13900K and 14900K you absolutely do, air cooling is not enough to keep these i9's from throttling.
if you think this pc is heavy you should see mine, its a corsair 7000D full tower x.x
Gotta appreciate going back and fixing your mistake rather then just shipping it back like feck it
Ouch , that's a nasty downgrade on the front fans . 3x 140mm normal fan replaced to weak 3x120mm 15mm slim fans =(
Actually better put 120mm on front.
Use contact frame for this cpu it will improve the cooling performance
Man, you make this look so freaking simple. I'm afraid to even touch the bios so I can change a couple settings and flash it.
Broooo. These long form videos are amazing man. Keep up the amazing work. One day ill be having you build me a decent oc. Ill probably try first hahahaha
0:41 "The Greatest Technician Thats Ever Lived"🤣
The greatest technician thats ever lived saga continues!
The greatest technician that ever drank
I have the same case, got it on a computer tower stand that has 4 wheels, it helps me move it around and keeps it higher off the ground, it's by Labobole I'd recomend it. This case IS heavy and mines heavier yet with a Strix RTX 4090 oc lc and it has the same AIO, same 64gb memory also. It has a i9 13900ks though... No over heating issues 4 me.
Having the customer play along is brilliant. 😂
Love your vids hahaha, gets me laughing everytime "the greatest technician has ever lived" Plays
The greatest air cooler that's ever lived
my wife left me for THE GREATEST TECHNICIAN THATS EVER LIVED
When you plan to saving certain part for budget, but the spec is overkill, this is what happens.
This is happen with me decades ago.. But again, the build should be balance, these CPU need Water Cooling 360 mm at minimum.
the gooch never dies
Bruh your jokes make this the greatest computer yt channel ever
The greatest technician in the world
Not the asmr guak guak 3000 sounds 10:52 💀
Hey, just wanted to say that JaysTwoCents has done some videos on the default settings in the BIOS for ASUS motherboards being set in such a way that the mobo is sending to much voltage to the cpu. And of course the 14900k also needs a better cooler than the one that system came with.🤓 EDIT: Spoke too soon! When I restarted the video after typing my earlier comment he hit on the exact thing I was talking about.
Truly, the greatest technician that’s ever lived
