He was sober more of then then not. And when on 2 years gun probation you get mandatory drug alcohol testing. He started with pills to sleep when filming the movie which led to more pills. And are he had some bad years. But when proof died in 06 is when he was really bad. Never hard drugs. He has sis this many times. Never had an issue with alcohol. Prescription pills. Not saying it’s good at all. Just people seem to act like he was this hard core druggie. And that’s is so far not true. Kim was. And after his overdose end of 07. He has been clean since 08. 5/6 years of slowly getting worse with pills. And he was older. Most are not alive or still on drugs or were for 20/30 years. He was not. He raised his brother and daughters. And got his act together. He was the only one they had reliable and to be trusted with.

Eminem wasn't even on the main stage and he looked like he was wearing a diaper because he had fractured his hip a few nights prior. Anyhow, at my particular venue (Buffalo,@ La Salle Park) for some reason Blink-182 and Eminem were scheduled to play at the same time on opposite stages which was fucking lunacy because people were running back and fourth between songs... people who were there to Blink 182 started bickering with people who were there to see Eminem and a literal battle broke out between the two fan base's. So Eminem (who had started the show with maybe 200-300 fans to see him) after 3 songs knowing he was the "underdog" started to feed off it climbed up a huge scaffolding to a a giant speaker box and started playing along with the crowd urging people to see him because Blink 182 was allotted more time to play so he was up there going on about his hip an then started working the crowd... Immediately he started getting the swarms of people from the Blink crowd over to his side so he plays another song and by the time that song was over he had everyone going nuts.So the dj then breaks out the intro to the song "I Just don't give a Fuck" and he jumps into the crowd he gets back on stage urging people to sing along all of the sudden he has more fans watching him then Blink 182! and now thousands! of people are singing the chorus "I just don't give fuck". So yeah Eminem in 1999 Eminem literally stole Blink 182's fans. An then finished with "My name is"... An then the rest is history. Just thought id share
