Edit: something else I want to say is Why does everyone feel the need to compare Tom to Andrew and Tobey. All three of them have played Spider-Man but they all have played different Spider-Man. Tobey’s Spider-Man worked for the daily bugle and has fought villains such as doc ock , Green Goblin and Venom and he confronted his uncles killer and forgave him, Andrew was an awkward high school student who was dating Gwen Stacy then had to watch her die and had his best friend become one of his villains and he fought people like Electro and Lizard and Green Goblin, Then there’s Tom who got recruited by Tony Stark and dragged in to a big superhero world where he also has to live a high school life with his Friends Ned and MJ and fights people like Shocker, Vulture and Mysterio until his identity gets revealed.
There’s no point trying to compare any of these Spider-Men to each other because they’re are all different Spider-Men they’ve all had similar lives but they’re all different obviously Tom’s life is the most different being apart of the avengers but there’s nothing wrong with there’s nothing wrong with him being Tony starks apprentice and the person to replace him because he’s a different Spider-Man. That’s the main reason everyone hates on Tom not because he’s doing a bad performance but because he’s Iron Man’s apprentice

The chemistry between RDJ and Cevans really helped with this movie ! With two leads like them and the bond they have, it's no wonder this movie turned out so well. They play the conflict perfectly and it's easily my favorite movie from the MCU.
The MCU was really crescendoing up to something serious. It was a great ride.

The guy who portrays vision has such a satisfying soothing voice, I just like to hear him talk, civil war has been the best avengers movie for me, it was the introduction of black panther and spidey into the mcu which was awesome
Did you ever see "Master and Commander"? Paul Bettany was AMAZING in that (as was Russell Crowe). One of my favorite films ever.
The thing about MCU casting, is they didn't just nail it in terms of casting, in particular, Tom as Spider-Man and RDJ as Iron Man, but they took to another level and *simultaneously* nailed it in how perfect a fit these guys were as Peter and Tony.
They did this across the board, as well as for heroes with no alter ego, but Tom and RDJ's individual, and collective, performances are just ...amazing, invincible, even.
I often see Stan Lee as a hero, for giving me such an awesome childhood growing up, but I'll thank Jon Favreau, and co., until I'm blue in the face for giving me another awesome childhood, as an adult, these last 10+ years.

The amount of detail and planning that goes into marvel movies is crazy. When the first avengers movie came out, they had to film stuff for infinity war as well...and I think they did it without telling the actors at the same time which is also crazy.
tom holland is the best spiderman to date. i enjoy not only the action but his regular human being scenes.
For me Tobey was the best Peter parker and spiderman, mainly because I grew up with him watching each of the movies like 5 times every year
