Ceiling unlimited is thought provoking and a rocker too. My kids loved the video “driven” when it came out. I never could have known my daughter would be fighting cancer at the same time as Neil. She lost hers in 2017. Respect to Neil. I humbly say that I think I understood his grief over his child too. And I started following Rush since they first came out, I was in the right age bracket. Neil lost his daughter, then, her mother and his wife right after that, , he hopped on a motorcycle and tried to outrun his pain and keep from falling into the huge empty hole inside him. He took his pain for a ride a crossed 3 countries. When he came home to his brothers and wanted to allow his pen and drum kit help heal his new life with only memories of what was Rush reformed and wrote "Vapor Trails", a powerful transcription of feelings was born into music from 3 of some of the finest musicians on the planet to be shared with the world. Vapor Trails was important for so many reasons, it was "the return" album after a long absence from the band and a much needed food for Neil's soul to heal, hearing it really says so much to me in many ways and came to me at a time "I really needed it" the message was good, hopeful somehow, thank you Geddy, Neil and Alex for some of the finest music those who have ears that can hear could be blessed with.
Thanks for posting this. I had tickets for this show, but my daughter was sick so I stayed home .My husband, boss and co-worker enjoyed a great show and now, thanks to you, I can enjoy what I missed that night.
This was my first Rush tour of 10 total shows, 5 cites and 4 tours, ending with R40 at The Key in Seattle, and experiencing these guys live is an experience that may now never be repeated. 100x better than anything I've ever heard live. Miss you, Neil.

I think they didn’t play it that much because it was hard on Geddy’s voice. If you listen on some concerts from this tour, it sounds like he’s straining a little.
That was one of the variables on the tour. One night it was Ceiling Unlimited, next night it was Ghost Rider. It's unfortunate that only a hand full of Vapor Trails song made it to the setlist for the subsequent tours. A lot of fantastic songs on that album.
When giants walked the earth. Their like will not be seen again, I fear. Utter magic. La Villa St. is one of the most iconic pieces of the rock canon, even with the Alex sidebar!

Saw them at the Staples center with tickets right by Geddy . And at Vegas , again by Geddy 😃. Rush concerts are pretty much like meteors striking the upper atmosphere .. a must see human event✌️

Why did it take so long for Rush to get into the Hall of Fame? For two reasons. First, they didn't bow down to the mainstream critics and adhere to convention. Secondly, they were too damn good!
What a great Trio. Highly Unlikely's drums, Boom "Boom Boom" Boom's amazing bass lines and soaring vocals. And *random Blues notes*'s Blues notes are just great!

Thanks for this great footage! I was at this show. Off to Geddy's side a couple sections back. Sounded great! Met Geddy and Alex pre- and post-show. Each time they signed one item (security's rules) so they signed my Farewell to Kings vinyl jacket and my original Exit Stage Left program from the Omni in '81. Alex was especially super cool! Geddy was nice but quiet as saving his voice before and after show. Neil avoided everybody and went straight to his bus, arriving shortly on his BMW bike riding along with his drum tech (Butch?) after the other two arrived by white van. Still, meeting 2/3 of Rush (twice) in one evening was magical! One of my all-time musician-meet honors!
