Ceiling unlimited is thought provoking and a rocker too. My kids loved the video “driven” when it came out. I never could have known my daughter would be fighting cancer at the same time as Neil. She lost hers in 2017. Respect to Neil. I humbly say that I think I understood his grief over his child too. And I started following Rush since they first came out, I was in the right age bracket. My hope is that Neil is with his child and wife. I hope to go to my daughter.

Neil lost his daughter, then, her mother and his wife right after that, , he hopped on a motorcycle and tried to outrun his pain and keep from falling into the huge empty hole inside him. He took his pain for a ride a crossed 3 countries. When he came home to his brothers and wanted to allow his pen and drum kit help heal his new life with only memories of what was Rush reformed and wrote "Vapor Trails", a powerful transcription of feelings was born into music from 3 of some of the finest musicians on the planet to be shared with the world. Vapor Trails was important for so many reasons, it was "the return" album after a long absence from the band and a much needed food for Neil's soul to heal, hearing it really says so much to me in many ways and came to me at a time "I really needed it" the message was good, hopeful somehow, thank you Geddy, Neil and Alex for some of the finest music those who have ears that can hear could be blessed with.

VT is one of my favourite Rush albums, the song writing is deeper than most of their work in that era, the songs are mature and multi dimensional, layered and textured. Sure the recoding is not perfect but it's raw and you can really feel Neil in this album, SO personal to him...

Thanks for this great footage! I was at this show. Off to Geddy's side a couple sections back. Sounded great! Met Geddy and Alex pre- and post-show. Each time they signed one item (security's rules) so they signed my Farewell to Kings vinyl jacket and my original Exit Stage Left program from the Omni in '81. Alex was especially super cool! Geddy was nice but quiet as saving his voice before and after show. Neil avoided everybody and went straight to his bus, arriving shortly on his BMW bike riding along with his drum tech (Butch?) after the other two arrived by white van. Still, meeting 2/3 of Rush (twice) in one evening was magical! One of my all-time musician-meet honors!

Rush was the best band ever. Neil was rock history’s best drummer period. He’s gone way too soon. 2112 is the best rock album ever made period.

Thank you so much for putting this show up! This was my second time and unfortunately the last time seeing Rush. The first was at the old Omni Atlanta '96 Test for Echo. For the exception of a few songs, they were completely different shows. I'm truly saddened that Rush as we knew it is over. I'm forever grateful for Rush providing a soundtrack to my dorky early years. I'm a much better drummer too thanks to the Professor sharing his life, techniques, and wisdom. Rock on Forever Neil ❤🤘

Is it me or is there something Eastern or Exotic about their sound? Maybe it’s Geddy Lees Vocals. I always imagine he’s like some kind of Monk from the Himalayas who learned to sing and came down from the mountains 🏔 to visit us. Something Exotic and other worldly about his Voice! I can’t quite put my finger on it. Does anyone agree with me?
Of Course, now with Neil Pearts departure, this Trio is over. Very Sad but he was a big part of their sound and success as well as the other two. They were a perfect Triangle and Trio.
Well, for forty years you could see them.
If you missed it, then it’s your fault.
    They Toured constantly!
    RIP Neil Peart
