I love seeing family businesses running and successful and been passed over to generations. That is such an important thing to sustain a business all those years
@@dweuromaxx well if we’re talking about practical in a context of if it still has a right to be there then of course what charm will our world have left when those little businesses go down maybe together with classic beautiful historic buildings because it’s cheaper to do it otherwise financially seen it’s obviously another story but that is just the problem if all things die out that are just not financially working anymore than our world will have lost just about all of its charm. Some things cannot work on a financial level though if we are talking about the kind of shops that are known to be the best in the world like this one here making the violence or something like Henry Pole or John Lopp then yes those shops will be easily able to financially survive for the next centuries but the little small shops who might also be hundreds of years old but who just don’t have this level of pristine they need our help to survive
Man.....i just graduated high school today...... If it wasn't for dw euromax and a few other channels.....(who helped me a lot and cheered me up cuz i was suffering from depression JUST BEFORE my final exams) i don't think that would've made it this far.... Thanks from bottom of my ❤ Team DW E.Max
Danke for the interesting and beautiful feature; Julia has a special gift! 🎻 "When you play a violin piece, you are a storyteller, and you're telling a story." Joshua Bell
A very good colleague has a Mittenwald and I have a 1913 Eduard Reichert. They are like chalk and cheese. My violin(s) are no duds but the Mittenwald is just a real step up. They have a great tone, are really easy to play and seem to want to be played. I'd like to get one for myself one day. Good video !!
She will use spruce grown in high alps for the top plate and likely maple from Bosnia for the belly. The ribs and inner linings are also from maple wood. The finger board and tail piece are usually made of EBONY.

how can I connect with Julia Klotz? I have a 1776 Mattias Klotz I would love to show her.
does it mean the new violin she made is as good as the one made back 350yrs ago since , its the same technology and method
If it's the same technique and materials then of course it's the same.
She picks out fir wood?????
It's Spruce and maple (Main Resonation body)
