I got this kit based on this video from Chan RC. It seems pretty nice upon first impressions. I couldn't run the domed tires with a Kysoho AE86 shell so extended the wheelbase and lowered the motor which made it drift a lot easier and will put on a 1/24 Italeri Fiat 131 shell.

I was comparing it too my other cars where was able to really get a further range at end point , not that it matters that much …. Although with the next video the new steering upgrade added that little bit more adjustability . Check out the zero rc it’s my latest video . Depends on style or drifting. For fast big drifts gear diff. For slow technical drifts fixed diff

the steering angle is fine. its an ackerman setup. this is actually way better than both sides turning the same amount!

Which do you prefer the hopped up xrx or the drift art?
I prefer the direct gearbox and versatility of my xrx. It's a personal choice. Some prefer the drift art.

What’s the point of adding weight to the front?
Depends, for this car it helped the steering direction whilst drifting so the car doesn't understeer.

Yes try hrc mini z arena do a gear option . I haven’t tested yet.
