    This is good advice, no matter what you are driving. In my youth (a long time ago!), we competed in a couple of "Economy Runs". The techniques were the same; I'm glad you didn't propose some of the others, such as:
    * Over-inflating tyres.
    * Backing off brake adjusters. (Drum brakes!)
    * Leaning fuel mixture.
    * Never turning on the heater.
    * Never opening a window.
    * Taping up panel-gaps.
    * Repacking wheel bearings with lighter grade grease.
    * Thinner oil in engine and transmission. (You might struggle to do this!)
    * Removing radio aerial, (What?!) wing-mirrors, and windscreen wipers.
    * Removing cooling fan, and partially blanking radiator grille.
    * Drive at the most economic speed, and just ignore the Tooting from the queue behind!
    All quite pointless really, but I guess we thought it was entertaining! 🥴

    Hi, I’ve found with my KIA NIRO, the less charge current you use ( on my granny lead there is a 6, 8, 10Amp setting, on the 6 Amp reading i have had a 347 mile range and a 342 range, which isn’t bad as the car range is supposed to be 285 miles per full charge. These results were Summer readings, winter readings are much lower.

      This is fascinating and the first time I’ve heard it. So, to confirm you are actually getting longer range when you charge a slower rates? Somehow charging slower fills the battery more? This post was one year ago. Can you confirm that it’s still the case? Or was it just a coincidence?

      @@paulinquebec Hi Paul, i think it may of been a coincidence! Most of my driving is on the Isle of Wight, approximately 20 by 10 miles island off the south of the UK, where most roads are 30 to 40 mph, so I believe some of the High range figures i have received are due to being in constant Eco driving mode, reading the road and driving short distances at low ish speeds, (my Niro is black so would that colour absorb the heat making the battery quicker to reach its normal operating temperature ??) who knows !!!

    Helpful video, thanks. The efficiency is measured in miles per kilowatt hour, not just miles per kilowatt. A kilowatt hour is a measure of the amount of energy in your battery.

    Thank you for the content. I think your voice is soft compare to the background music. This is a lovely EV to drive. I hope the price will drop soon. I drove this car up and down. Steep hill and its energy consumption was not terrible. I like the interior of this EV.

    People think that regen magically fixes efficiency when the truth is that you ony get 50-65% of the energy back - you can't cheat physics! The answer is Newtons 2. law: Force = Mass * Acceleration
    You get efficiency by driving with foresight, keeping momentum and avoiding unnecessary acceleration and braking

      Hi. I have heard this a few places, but I still can't get my head around something. When I have full regen on, to keep rolling i have to keep my foot on the pedal, when I would usually roll on a normal car. So on a flat where I would normally roll, is keeping the regen on and having my foot on the pedal actually using the energy of the battery more? It "feels" like it is. It feels like I am always driving in a low gear.
