This particular performance is my all time favourite version of the song. Elaine shows that she doesn't need a costume to show the character or the emotion; her eyes and voice say it all. Truly a spectacular woman.

She sang this song in many different occations, but this is the best. Even though it's a concert, she is not only singing Grizabella's song, but she IS Grizabella the Glamour Cat! I can sense Grizabella's pain and sorrow in her voice and her look, even though this is a concert and not a real show.

The difference between Elaine Page and Susan Boyle is that Elaine Page has performed on Broadway and has acting experience. She becomes the character she sings....Susan has not perfected that yet. She is after all new....was an unprofessional....give her time...and a chance. Susan has a fabulous voice, just no training.
