I started playing piano when I was 5. At one point, I almost became music student. But I know I would be too nervous for the concerts. So at 18 I chose the other path. Life happens. I became an adult who has nothing to do with music. THEN TwoSetViloin appeared in my RUclips feed. I watched every episode back to back. And you know what? I just got back to playing piano for the first time after like 10 - 15 years (too long I couldn't remember) Thank you Eddy, Brett, and all Ling Ling Wannabes for making music fun and exciting for me again!
Before I quit at that time, I could play Bach - Prelude and Fugue in C minor, BWV 847 (the song planned for the audition). Now I play only kids songs, but that brings back memories of good old days.
I want to become a physicist in future. I think it is more flexible than office jobs ? I hope I will have time for music.
I become a freelancer thinking I would have more of free time to do and try many things. But it actually made a line between work life and play life one big blur. I ended up working "40 hours a day". Recently I just made a decision to take a break on working (without Ling Ling insurance) and hope to find a new path in life. Playing piano is one of the things I want to try.

My boyfriend is violin gang and I used to be piano gang. We are now both too busy for playing instruments (we are working at medical field) but watching twoset violin videos really bring us joy and relaxation after work. These fun videos/ twoset and bubbletea time bring us closer and there are endless topics between us. We would also search and recommend pieces to each other. Thank you twoset and all lingling out there!

A SCIENCE FAIR ON THIS. So, some music they actually lean towards (like leaning towards sunlight). That music was actually classical music, and things like rock they lean away from. Very interesting.
I decided to do a quick search myself, and apparently it has something to do with vibrations affecting the plant, potentially stimulating growth. Nothing about leaning towards or away from the sound source. In addition, a few other studies were conducted, and one variant by the Mythbusters would suggest contrary to your claim. Supposedly, plants exposed to death metal would grow better than plants exposed to classical music. Other studies suggest that perhaps the greater pressure exerted by loud rock music would not be conducive to growth for the plant. Either way, it's still an interesting phenomenon.

@@yoshi27661 You should check out Yngwie Malmsteen since he was the guy who invented neoclassical metal. Some of his best songs are Far Beyond the Sun, Black Star and Evil Eye. The structure and other musical elements of metal songs usually aren't very similar to classical music especially the more extreme subgenres like death and black metal, but it's true that metal is very inspired by it. I mean, metal basically started when rock musicians stopped drawing inspiration from blues and started incorporating elements from european classical music. The most "metal" classical composers are probably Vivaldi and Bach, just listen to a cover of Summer that is played on a distorted guitar and you will see that it sounds exactly like a true metal song.

8:55 About the tuning of the piano, I am a pianist and I tune it myself. This is not at all difficult if you understand how to do it, but it takes a lot of time (from 3 to 5 hours in the worst case). This should be done several times a year. (I live in a small town where there are no professional tuners and where the climate for the piano is not very good).

It's about technique not the quality of the recorder, especially for beginners. I actually prefer the cheap plastic ones because they require zero maintenance, and that allows me to practice more. Stop acting like recorders are seen as a low tier instrument because of the plastic kinds. In fact, even some professional recorder players use the cheap plastic "toys".

I like how twoset can roast davie but also they genuinely appreciate that he has talent with playing the bass, like anytime they get roasted back (such as by recorder gang), they watch the video and you can see them having fun with roasting, but they’re also humble enough to say “yeah, that’s pretty cool, I never knew you could do that on this instrument”. Like, aside from roasting genuinely bad performances and correcting misconceptions about classical music, twoset mainly has either wholesome memes or educational memes, like “interesting” and “if you can play it quickly” both began as an educational meme (one, about sonata form and how to compose music and two, about tone quality and how quality is better than quantity). And then, the entire subreddit being taken over by wholesome Hilary memes after those collab videos... It’s just genuinely fun to watch bc you both laugh and learn a little, and sometimes you see some really fantastic art or violin playing.
Not just saying this because I was a violinist, but bc I really do think the mix of educational and comedic content is why Twoset is fantastic, and I’ll always recommend them first when someone asks me about a music channel on RUclips that I like.
