Don't forget the Bach and Beethoven mentioned in the video. Yet yeah, if someone heard of the lesser known composers like Paganini, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, etc. then it's way less likely that they're gonna diss the whole genre of classical music.
Yeah, almost everyone knew at least the three big ones, Bach, Beethoven and Mozart. Even my grandmother who couldn't tell between a piano and an organ.
Ok, I'm a fan of a lot of classical music myself, but come on. Don't just listen to someone diss something you like and call them "anti-intellectual." All you're saying is that only the music you like is "intellectual" and everything else isn't, which only proves their point about classical music fans being pretentious asshats. And honestly, a lot of them are.
@SM Wasi The tweets were mostly targeting classical music fans on the internet, not the music itself or at least not only the music itself. Their point is that some people tend to make classical music out to be more complicated than it is while completely ignoring the complexity that does exist in many forms of modern music. It's not "complicated = bad," it's "acting like your favorite genre is the only genre that has depth or nuance is annoying."
@@qqma4791 I'm not saying the claim is "It's anti-intellectual because it's anti-classical," I'm saying that the only reason they're saying it's anti intellectual is because it's anti classical. The explicit statement is that it's anti-intellectual; the obvious motivation for making the claim is that OP can't handle the idea that people who might not share their tastes are still of equal value as human beings.
Or, if you actually paid attention, you'd notice that all but one of the people that dissed Mozart mentioned that they liked other composers and didn't categorically hate classical music.
@@ronelel2109 I think you misread my comment; I said "all but one." Out of all the people that named Mozart specifically, only one of them was dissing classical music in general; all the others explicitly stated or at least really implied that they're into classical music, they just don't like Mozart specifically.
I mean, if someone is just knowledgeable and confident about their knowledge, and if someone calls them snobbish or arrogant, it says more about the person calling them snobbish/arrogant than about the person they are talking about.
Well, anything that you don't understand and sounds complicated will sound snobby, even more especially if you are not even trying to learn and understand it. Storytime: I heard and learned from my grandad about the ways and techniques to live in the wild, and since I cannot understand any of that as a city boy, I do felt like my grandad was boasting his arrogance at me. Then after reflecting logically back on the tales and lessons from grandad, it suddenly sounds cool and interesting to me. Thinking back, probably my grandad may have felt the same when looking at me with my smartphone and PC skills. Yeah anything that felt easy to ourselves would sound like something impossible to the others that don't understand. To me, smartphone and PC usage are basic and easy, then as that may come off as looking down on my grandad to him. To my grandad, making fire and crafting stick-tools is basic and easy, then as that may come off as a showoff to me.
This channel is the reason why I got into classical music. I've always liked classical music, but this channel made me seek out specific musicians and music pieces.
Same bro. Tbh just because i heard classical musc is boring from most of the ppl . I just simply didnt listen to it. Cause i didnt want to be weird. But now im proud that i got over it. Found huge respsct and interest in classical music. Now i barely know whats going on in pop music. I think classical music was a part of me tha i never discovered. Thankfully found these guys thro roomie. An now im in love. I just listen to classical music and i feel good.
Me to. I used to listen to André Rieu when I was 12. But then got a stereo.... but now after 2set. Im full on classical music. And hymns for I'm a christian to.😄🤣
I really hate it when people make derogatory comments about Classical Music, such as these. 9 times out of 10, it's purely because of lack of education. Too often Classical Music is seen as pristine music for the wealthy, or boring, or only for old people. But there's so much intensity, and beauty, and emotions that come from classical. Just a year ago I made these sort of comments myself. But I wanted to improve my piano abilities and decided that classical music was the best way to do that. I found this channel and instantly fell in love. What I've learned is that there's something for everyone in Classical Music, and that I couldn't imagine my life without it now. So thank you TwoSetViolin. You've brought me so much happiness. :))) Edit: Alright I'm back to this comment. Thank you all for mostly being respectful in the replies. That doesn't happen enough these days. Second of all, some people seem to think that the "lack of education" part comes of as "snobby," which I can definitely see. I didn't mean for it to be that way. What I meant is how classical music spreads into multiple eras, like Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary, and how there's so many composers to study and learn about. I just worded that all incorrectly, so sorry if it came off like that :/ Another Edit *(DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT I WROTE BEFORE, JUST READ THIS)* Okay my previously stated thoughts are kind of outdated, so don't pay them much attention. I'll try to word my current thoughts as best as I can: Similar to modern music, classical music is incredible and diverse in so many ways. With classical music being less mainstream though, it can take more time to learn to love it. Sometimes, people may just not carry the same level of appreciation as classical listeners and musicians. But when these people "insult" (It's a harsh word but I don't know what else to use) this form of art and expression we've grown to care so deeply for, we're likely to get defensive, which I think is where snobs and "elitists" come from. One side lashes out, the other lashes back. It's an awful cycle that shouldn't happen. It's okay to not like something, and it's okay to share your love for what you do like. But remember that everyone likes their own genre's of music. Hating on their preferred types won't change their opinion, but appreciating and respecting what others like might make them more open to what you have to say about what you enjoy.
@@devonchristopher5837 I will FIGHT anyone who thinks moonlight sonata is boring 😤 Fr tho they just have to look around, there's literally a composer/style for everyone
I prefer modern music than classical but i surely can say that classical music have very attractive vibe that attracts someone that doesn't prefer classic like me to love it. The instruments of classical music sound nice and unique tbh. And yes, many song use classical music piece from years ago to use as the base (i don't learn about music properly so idk if this is the correct term, please correct me) to create variety of modern music on these day.
definition of snob according to google: "a person who believes that their tastes in a particular area are superior to those of other people"...so all those people who looked down on classical music is also a snob
And so is everyone who's ever said "Classical music just has so much more _dEpTh_ and _MeAniNg_ than modern music!" Or bullshit like that. And that's a lot of people.

Kpop fans know exactly what it feels like to be made fun of for their music taste with the whole ongoing stereotype of “obsessive 14 year-old girls”, so I really don’t understand why would they do the same to classical music fans and generalise all of them as “snobbish and pretentious”. Is that really a way? Also if they can praise Kpop idols for training for years to exceed in singing, rapping and dancing, surely they can recognise classical musicians for also putting enormous time and effort into mastering their instruments.
As both a K-pop fan and a classical music fan, I get made fun of for both. So it kinda doesn't matter, you'll be made fun of either way. When I say I like Billie Eilish, they say I'm a depressed teenager, when I say I like BTS, BLACKPINK and K-pop, they say I'm cringy and childish, when I say I like classical music they say I'm old and boring. Musically, there is nothing wrong with Kpop, it’s rather nice actually, but the image, dances, industry and everything surrounding this genre is just obnoxious
@@demifiendrussia The image and industry I can understand the dislike, for sure, but don’t disparage the dances now! Kpop choreography is frankly very interesting, at least to me, because it has to be both a spectacle for fans and casual watchers to observe yet _also_ be some level of accessible, since so much of Kpop dance culture revolves around the ability for the choreographies to be performed by fans as well. Sure, they won’t appeal to everyone, but there’s definitely at least one aspect to admire about Kpop’s incorporation of dance.

They're obviously not a musician, a composer, a producer, or anyone who works with music in any way. Anyone who's trying can tell that a MIDI of a violin sounds like shit. Not because it has no "life" or "sOuL," but because it just doesn't even approach the realistic sound of an actual violin being played. I know this from trying to produce music using soundfonts. No matter how good the soundfont was, the strings always sounded like shit.
7:12 good point. Americans tend to forget that not everything is about them Also other genres have their own words too? Let's take Ostinato for example. In Jazz you call it Vamp, in Rock it's Riff and in Electro it's Loop. So everyone is "making up" words. Classical music just did it first lol
To each other, maybe they're not toxic. Try looking in the comments under a classical music video on RUclips and make a tally of how many times they shit on every other era and genre of music. You'll find that your count goes up fast.
That's such a stupid statement that k pop fan made. Does she know all classical musicians and classical music fans? K pop fans are so vicious, stupid and nasty all at the same time - hating on a K pop idol and looking for every reason to attack him or her just because they are a 'rival' to his or her own k pop idol. Just look at the recent Kris Wu case. Those who already hated or disliked him before those accusations, and who love another k pop star all jumped to take advantage of those accusations against him, labeling him a 'rapist' and 'paedophile' just on the mere basis of accusations and news reports which a) do NOT amount to EVIDENCE b) warrant caution all the more because of the public personna of the accused. No matter how much one tries to reason with them that ACCUSATIONS do NOT EQUAL to EVIDENCE or TRUTH, they simply make their stupid comments in response, like one would expect of the typical k pop fan girl. Those who love him simply assumed that he is innocent just because he is Kris Wu. Of course there were his former fans who now dislike him, but they left the fandom only out of their self-preservation, not because of any moral fibre they have. As for me personally who is neither a diehard fan nor an anti-fan of Kris Wu, my take is that because anyone can make up any accusations, especially of sexual assault or rape, (where the evidence is mostly circumstantial evidence rather than physical or real evidence, save for a rape kit test where a forensic examination is carried out on the alleged victim), caution about such accusations are absolutely warranted. For example, I could make up an accusation that someone is bullying me just because I 'felt' offended about a comment, so likewise people can make up an accusation of 'rape' just because they want revenge or whatever other motive. K pop fans are typically dumb, uncapable of reasoning and logic, toxic, mean and nasty, and evil at all the same time - not only do they have no redeeming qualities at all, but that they are total trash. They have both bad character and no brain at all. They don't even have half a brain but no brain at all. And no moral fibre.

They don't understand how amazing classical music is. It has so many stories and emotions that each composer perfectly adds to the music, you can listen to certain songs and you can see a story in your head, you usually can't do that with pop music.
I mean Kanye is a big figure in the hip hop community, but trying to compare the classical music community to the hip hop community is like comparing Batman to Superman. when words like "fast" and "slow" can be interpreted as complicated words simply because they were written in another language, i kind of understand why some people think there are many classical snobs around...and i feel so sorry for those people missing out on a beautiful world of music
The saddest part of this is not everyone have chance to know about classical music. Before *TwoSetViolin* the definition for classical music or classical music related in me are: 1. Beethoven 2. Listen to classical music help baby become smarter 3. Piano game apps 4. Relaxing music for study/sleep 5. For rich people 6. Very difficult ... Now I now that classical music is more than that. They have several instruments with interesting history and development. The orchestra are very complex. And there are more and more younger people playing instruments. I really appreciate Brett and Eddy for introduced me into this amazing world that never though I would be apart of. Thank you so much for making classical music available for us.
For me classical music was: 1. Beethoven 2. In the hall of the mountain king 3. Romantic 4. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is the coolest name I've ever heard 5. Violin 6. Piano 7. No words 8. Old 9. Dun dun dun
That's the irony. Those people who are accusing classical musicians of being snobs are themselves snobs. Yes, there are classical music snobs out there, but snobbery is by no means exclusive to classical musicians only. There are plenty of pop snobs, rap snobs, and also the no-music snobs. Really, anyone can be a snob, and whether we admit it or not, most of us are snobs about something. Think coffee snobs.
People try to belittle one side of the music(whatever classical or other genres) just show their ignorance and disrespect instead of their ‘superior’ taste or humor
To pretend that all music is of equal artistic value is obviously ridiculous. The issue is not with criticism of the music itself, but with the shaming of people who listen to it, classical or otherwise.
IMO, if you come out of music school as a music snob, you did something wrong. In high school, I was that person who was like "rap isn't music," but taking theory, history, and ethno classes in college just opened my eyes to how broadly we can define the term "music," and all the different things the western classical tradition might not call "music," but other cultures around the world do. Even pop music, for as much as we can joke about its relative lack of complexity, can be hugely important and impactful culturally, and is something many musicologists have heavily researched and written academic papers on. Same with KPop, Rap, etc. It can be (and has been) argued that every single sound could be defined as music in some way, to someone, and I think that's really, really cool.
Also, a lot of music theory is mostly based on eurocentric ideals throughout history, so that's already missing a whole chunk of other cultures and the different ways they examine it. The way there are so different language systems.
I already pointed to this vid in another comment, just search Music Theory and White Supremacy - By RUclipsr Adam Neely Wishing he could do any collabs with our boys here.
Exactly, I don't think that the snobs from the other genres realise that. Pop artists, such as Drake or whoever (idk anymore), will probably get forgotten, or in the worse case hated, in a few years, while Classical has survived
@@cerebrummaximus3762 That's a faulty and narrow way to assess that phenomenon. The fact that we still can't really tell which modern music will stand the test of time is because... time hasn't even moved a bit yet.
Well, to be fair, the main reason we still know about it is because a relatively small group of rich people in a society that happened to not get destroyed continued to write it down over the years. There is certainly tons of amazing music that was lost because the only copies of it were lost, or because it was an oral tradition that faded over time, or because the people who wrote it were genocided at some point. Merely being good doesn't make things stand the test of time.
There's a reason why classical music is still alive, even after so many years have passed. I'm not a fan when it comes to classical music but I respect it nonetheless.
@@JP-ku5hw because it paved the way to music theory. Because even after hundreds of years ago, these pieces still exists and is regard as a masterpiece. Why would they still be played today and why do people still regard these classics as a masterpiece? Because they are. Like I said, I am not a fan of classical music but the amount of work that these people did and contributed, is still outstanding to this day. It's just built different.
You guys should put together a long deep dive into classical music playlist that starts with pieces that are the most paletable for new listeners and ending with the most InTRiCatE symphonies. Playlist must be 40 hours long.
A lot of people seem to forget that a lot of our music today has roots in classical music. Even elements of classical music is used in today’s modern music. For example, A Fifth of Beethoven (written by the guy who composes music for Family Guy) used Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony as its base. And tell me you haven’t heard any genre that uses strings/orchestra outside of classical context, like the violin parts in Tony Toni Toné’s Anniversary, or Sisqo’s Thong Song. Heck, Imagine Dragons uses viola in their music, as do other modern acts. Classical music in general deserves more credit.
I think a lot of the reason these people are dissing classical musicians is they dont understand the ppl who literally dedicate their life to it. I went to go see Ray Chen perform live last week and the dedication he put into his performance was amazing. If ppl understood the dedication I doubt they would be as judgy. That's just my take =>
I feel like these people will just diss anything that doesn't fit into their taste. Today they're dissing classical music. The next day they will be saying jazz only plays trashy notes and for old people. The other day they will be saying metal and rock is for violent uneducated edgy kid. They only sees the music they like as "real music" and claims shit like "midi is the future" while at the same time calling out classical musicians for being musical snobs but ironically says stuff like "classical music is boring and terrible and shit pop music is superior".
@@tommywong7748 agree the people that diss other people's music taste are simply just narrow minded and ignorant. they can't accept other people's taste other than their own and think their music taste is more superior than others. it's one thing to just dislike the genre and not your cup of tea but another to think your taste is superior than others and diss others' music taste. every musician or artist dedicate a lot into their art work and any person with common sense would respect it even if it's not their taste.
the irony is a lot of rock and metalheads are actually just hippies who love the music, speaking as one of those people. jazz musicians are really chill people who get lost in their craft. we don't see ourselves as "the best" or "superior", we're just into the music and love it. edit: we also appreciate and love classical too, and i remembered there is symphonic and prog rock (sometimes), which basically tells a lot
Of course, they have very distinctive, different sounds than other sonatas made by other composers, I do prefer more of his concertos like his concerto for two pianos third movement
Well, metal fans and metal musicians love classical music. There's even a subgenre called SYMPHONIC METAL, which I highly encourage everyone to check out (the bands Nightwish and Epica are a good place to start). Other subgenres that fans of classical music will enjoy are progressive metal, defined by its musical complexity and the technical proficiency of its musicians (I recommend, to start, Dream Theater and the amazing Australian band Ne Obliviscaris who has a violinist), folk metal (the band Eluveitie features tones of folk instruments like violin, whistle, hurdy-gurdy, harp, mandolin, bag pipes, etc.) and of course neoclassical metal (Yngwie Malmsteen) and metal covers of classical pieces ( for example, Shoshtakovich's string quartet). PS. If you happen to read this and react to Nightwish, make sure you watch a video with their latest vocalist, Floor Jansen, or the most obsessive faction of their fans will find you and come for your throats. Don't worry, though, as someone who has been a Nightwish and Floor fan for about 20 years (and who actually prefers Floor), most of their fans are pretty chill and their music is incredibly worth it.
Classical fans waste so much time on reaching out to pop fans who dgaf. Yet, little attention metal/rock that have high respect to classical. 2set please collab with the guitar community.
Symphonic metal is excellent, and Ancient Bards are one of the best bands in my opinion (their first three albums are more or less flawless). Nightwish, I suppose, are the true masters, but I haven't been able to enjoy them as much with Floor as I did with Tarja. I have a feeling Floor is revered a little too highly. (I don't disagree with her talent; I'm just one of those "old Nightwish over new Nightwish" people.)

I'm not even a classical musician or listen much to classical music. But they are forcing me to be a snob as well. Anyone who understands music at all can't spew such nonsense, and who doesn't understand it shouldn't. Just because music is something almost anyone is interested in, it doesn't mean we all know what music is and are qualified to objectively evaluate it. Imagine telling a doctor to stop using fancy Latin words and just heal people. Or compare Messi with your everyday schoolyard football player because football is so popular and played on every street of many countries.
1:05 "you'd think we'd improve" Music. Does. Not. Improve. It grows, becoming more, expanding the spectrum. Art does not inflate, the assortments of a said genre just flourishes and withers in an endless cycle. The existence of something you don't appreciate, and the fact that others appreciate what you don't, does not make any difference to these facts.
I feel like a lot of people in classical community are just a bunch of people who are constantly drinking coffee and crying over sheet music because finals is around the corner. Also they would stop to pet a dog or a cat. Or maybe that's just my friend.
I've been into classical music all my life and I've recently been having the time of my life because my flatmate, who up to now had never experienced classical music in any way, has recently been expressing interest in discovering the genre a bit. We live in Vienna (which is perfect for that sort of thing because you have all the options, even in times such as these). A month ago, I took him to see his first opera and he actually rather enjoyed it. Watching him discover this completely different world of music is honestly such a joy.
I feel like people who enjoy classical music seem "snobby" bc you cant point out stuff like "oh this person's voice sounded so good on this lyric" or "damn that beat drop is sicKkK duDe" , with classical music you really have to specify and it can very easily feel like youre spitting out funny magic words especially when the other person isnt too familiar with music theory LMAO
I feel like to understand and appreciate classical music at its best, you need to know at least theory basics. You can obviously enjoy it without any specific knowledge, but to understand the story it tells, often you need to go deeper and grab informations about what it is. While, you're right, music with lyrics will give you a lot of clues for interpretation. Also the title : you can get straight the theme of a song, but with a piece called "menuet" or "sonata" you need to know what these forms are to have a little idea of what it can be. And I haven't even talked about the letters and numbers and composers'reference... It really takes some education to talk about it.
@@the.violin.noobie "I feel like to understand and appreciate classical music at its best, you need to know at least theory basics." can easily translate to "You're not educated enough to understand" which frankly, an impression I get from classical music before I found 2set channel, and thank God I did. It doesn't erase my first impression, but the understanding gave reason how and why it comes into that.
Bruh why are people so judgmental about music/hobbies or passions in general. Everyone has different opinions, which is fine, but don’t bash on something if you don’t fully understand it. Because maybe the thing you’re bashing on makes someone else really happy. “Let’s just be friends.”
well yes I remember my friend once asked "Why are you still taking classical music lessons? Learn pop songs instead. Is fur elise even a hard one for you?" it hurts
I listen to classical music for literally no other reason than my enjoyment so I am: a big meanie, psychopath, snob who will never get laid and spend the rest of my days as a lonely spinster in my parents basement. *never been happier tbh*
Lately I've only listened to classical music. It's not because I think I'm better and more educated than other people. Classical music represents the way I can express my feelings more vividly and that I generally enjoy more than other music genres. This video and Brett's story about the Mahler 5th Symphony made me want to share something with the Twoset Community. The other day I was listening to a cello concerto (probably the Elgar Cello Concerto) and my brother said "Uuugh I'm so tired of listening to violins and classical music playing. Is this all you listen to now?". He then throws the snob comment at me and asks me how can I listen to classical music. My answer to this was very simple. Is it possible that after so many centuries of classical music, people won't find anything that they love? So many years, so many composers, so many different styles and stories behind it, is it possible that the people who tweeted that kind of nonsense are unable to establish a deep connection with just one piece? I'm telling you, anyone who finds just ONE of these pieces will stop saying that classical music is for snobs...
That's not my point. No one is a sociopath for not enjoying one genre of music. I just don't understand why people would call me a snob for liking classical music. In this particular genre there's music for every taste! There's too much variety for me to believe that these people wouldn't find at least one piece which moves their souls.
Yes, pop music full of lyrics is hypnotising to the mind, filling us with words and problems which don’t belong to us. Classical instrumental music creates an environment for the mind to flourish and discover its own potential. Instead of repeating somebody else’s crude words and simple beats
8:10 in my opinion the most interesting thing for me to discover in music is the different interpretations of orchestral pieces played by different orchestras. if u were to listen to different recordings of the same piece of music, u would be able to feel which one u connect with more because of the way they played it. now imagine if the musicians are replaced by midi, u wont get as many variations of the piece. this is one of the many reasons i love classical music.
I totally agree with the different recordings thing. Like for instance, I listened to Hilary Hahn and Itzak Perlman’s Sibelius violin concerto recordings and fell in love with Hilary Hahn’s one, but with other pieces I preferred Itzak Perlman’s recording. So, even between pieces, soloists play it so differently that you might just pick one although it’s the same piece
Yes! When I find a piece I like, I listen to it until I'm familiar with it ~a dozen times or so. Then I go to youtube and listen to other takes. It's incredible how different they all sound. Often, I'll listen and find parts I like from this conductor and this conductor until, hopefully, I find a rendition that I consider "definitive". Until I listen to the next definitive version, that is ;)
Same with classic rock and metal, though it is the same band, you may prefer some recordings of it more than others, such as Dire Straits' alchemy live recordings being considered holy by Dire Straits fans because they are absolutely brilliant.
Meanwhile, pop-music fans are doing the pop-music equivalent of "Yeah, so I listen to the second movements of middle-era Beethoven string quartets in minor keys" and getting really offended if you mis-genre their music by referring to it as, e.g., "Beethoven string quartets" 🤪
I love classical and kpop music. There are times I crave classical and there are times I crave kpop. Just depends on the mood. Like studying I like to listen to either it just depends on how I feel that day. Rock out to kpop or rock out to classical. 😊
My supervisor at Uni looked down on me when I didn't know anything about classical music some years ago (and since I'm from Beethoven's hometown my ignorance was extremely bad in his opinion). But I also had friends who listened to all the Brit-Rock bands and thought that every other music taste, especially Pop or K-Pop, was trash. I also knew people who thought rock and heavy metal is for unclean, dirty men with long beards so they listed to "clean" techno-music only. Snobism comes with the person, not the music genre...
It only takes one snob to make a young, impressionable person despise an entire category. Every group has snobs, unfortunately. You gotta ignore them and just do what you like.

Edit: Alright I'm back to this comment. I just worded that all incorrectly, so sorry if it came off like that :/
Another Edit *(DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT I WROTE BEFORE, JUST READ THIS)* Okay my previously stated thoughts are kind of outdated, so don't pay them much attention.
Exactly, classical music paved the way for genres that is heard nowadays

Yes, because Kpop fans are renowned for being nice and respectful...
Those who already hated or disliked him before those accusations, and who love another k pop star all jumped to take advantage of those accusations against him, labeling him a 'rapist' and 'paedophile' just on the mere basis of accusations and news reports which
a) do NOT amount to EVIDENCE
b) warrant caution all the more because of the public personna of the accused.

I think broadening the definition of music just makes music a synonym with sound design

Yeah boy!!! You are a man of culture! 😁
You should check out also:
1. Ukrainian band The Shadow of the Sun (folk metal)
2. Belarusian band Stary Olsa (they are inspired by medieval music)
3. Swedish band Garmarna (folk metal)

Sound recording was invented in the last half of the 1800s. All music composed before that by definition must be covers unless it should only be played live by the composer, never to be heard again after their death. It really blows my mind when people don't get that.

Music. Does. Not.

0:57 eddy’s hair is literally a mood
@@the.violin.noobie "I feel like to understand and appreciate classical music at its best, you need to know at least theory basics." can easily translate to "You're not educated enough to understand" which frankly, an impression I get from classical music before I found 2set channel, and thank God I did. a big meanie, psychopath, snob who will never get laid and spend the rest of my days as a lonely spinster in my parents basement.
*never been happier tbh*
That's my dream, too. I suppose.
Anyone who doesn't like at least one classical piece is a sociopath.
@@dinospumoni5611 Well, a lot of people on Twitter AR sociopaths, so... lol
That's not my point. No one is a sociopath for not enjoying one genre of music. I just don't understand why people would call me a snob for liking classical music. In this particular genre there's music for every taste! There's too much variety for me to believe that these people wouldn't find at least one piece which moves their souls.
I'm curious. What's the piece that made you want to listen to more classical music? :)

This!!!
Imagine how boring music will be if it's all midi. No different interpretations no variation just canned elevator music
