    I avoid FedEx like the plague for this reason. I rarely receive my packages when Fedex "delivers" them. The retailer is the one who winds up footing the bill, and that's unfair.
    For example, I sent a gift card to my daughter from Walmart. She received a fedex package with a hole in it and the gift card had been removed. When I called the retailer, they tracked the card being spent the night before her empty package arrived.

    Their competitors are experiencing the same problems, it's greed. It's never enough for some people. Consumers pay the price for higher wages,higher fuel prices,higher retail theft,higher internal theft, it's a vicious circle.

    • @SgtJoeSmith
      @SgtJoeSmith 18 дней назад +1

      Exactly! The greed of employees is unreal. Then they just blow the money on overpriced fast fashion or beer and smokes. If they need to make more money theirs plenty of higher pay construction jobs or they can mow lawns on the weekend or door dash after work. Shop at thrift store. Everyone has to try and look richer than they are. While the rich are trying to look poorer. It's all about keeping up with social media fakers. No matter the pay it'll never be enough cause they will just keep buying more stuff. I know a guy that built an $8 million dollar house couple years ago.they had been living in a trailer on 60 acres of woods. Had horse rink and greenhouse and shop. I thought it was nice place. Guy was like a top level exec making plenty. Built $8 million house. 2 years later laid off. Now he had to move and try and sell property. Had he just kept the trailer he still be there and able to get another job that paid enough to keep it. I don't think they had kids. Just him and wife. Could've just stuck to 1 bed apartment and put all that extra money in retirement. Instead buying big house that you gotta buy more stuff to fill and pay more taxes and utilities. People need to learn to just be happy with what they got.

    We ordered a 50 lb package of pet goods once from a well known Dept store. FedEx stopped outside my driveway than drove off claiming it was delivered. We complained to a very rude rep and the next day he “attempted” to deliver and drove by my house claiming he couldn’t find it. Again we complained and finally had to go to the depot to get it. A rep ‘happily’ loaded it into our vehicle. Makes me wonder if maybe the driver thought that package was a nice electronic???

    If an eBay vendor ships economy FedEx and FedEx delivers to the wrong house (proof in my case was the porch picture they took compared to mine), FedEx doesn't care because the economy shipping was used. eBay don't care as they consider FedEx tracking of "delivered" to be adequate for the vendor. 5 calls to FedEx all resulted in we don't care the shipper used economy something shipping, we don't track, or not our problem. eBay corporate don't hold seller responsible if it says "delivered", eBay won't review it for 4 days. Had to call the FedEx dist. Center and finally they sent driver out to try to find it and then they dropped it at our porch. No acknowledgement. Not buying anything from eBay again, only Amazon. Would also not use FedEx personally.
