Can confirm… the bathroom thing is hilarious. I swear guys go to the bathroom and step into another dimension and live an entire life there by the time they come out of the bathroom.
I really loved your video, do you think you could include the location of your 3rd condo and maybe the price of the condos :) Also were you buying or looking for rent ? THANKS for the video
THANK YOU❤️, I appreciate this so much! The third condo is Burano on Bay (832 Bay st) the price was not finalized since we were buying! But it was listed at 966k and I just checked on condos.ca to see that it was sold for 928k.
Maintenance fees not covering anything? What about fixing and repairing and maintaining HVAC, Plumbing, sprinklers, fire safety, building insurance, garbage, parking garage etc.
Hey, I assume you are talking about the gerrard place. The listing suggests that it covers the bare minimum of amenities. It does not even have a front desk concierge which is standard in most condos. So what I meant to say was it does not cover anything EXTRA. And for almost 1.3k a month, I would say that it is hard to justify the steep price at least for me.
Hi Kristine! Great question! So the condo we decided on actually had previous plumbing/drainage in a specific area near the kitchen, which is where we are thinking of adding the bathroom. We only realized it could be done after we viewed another unit with the same layout which had the additional bathroom added. But it is still going to be a pretty difficult process to get the board approval.
That one was located at the Evening Telegram Lofts! (Unit202-264 Seaton Street) Such a beautiful loft 😍here is the link on condos.ca if you wanna see more info on it! condos.ca/toronto/evening-telegram-lofts-264-seaton-st/unit-202-C5180146
People yelling at you near condo#4 isn't because you're Asian. Come on! People got over that years ago. That area is full of drunks and druggies, degenerates, prostitutes and lost souls, and the scumbags who prey on them. They scream at anyone who looks at them sideways. I'm going to watch your next video to see the place you settled on. 😊👍
Thanks so much for letting me know! I wasn’t familiar with the area and there was a lot of Asian hate at the time we were looking so it was not uncommon to get random yelling from strangers 🥲
Hey Sarah! I will post the public listings in the description but I didn't want the video to be all about the prices since I am just a one-time condo buyer and not sure when next time will be haha.
@@helenwvng thanks! I really appreciate that and totally understand. I bought a place in the St. Lawrence area early last year and I’ve been obsessively watching comparables ever since 🤗. Loved the video. Xo
Hey Mikhail, thanks for watching! We bought with our realtor, Denis Wu, his website is www.Deniswu.com. He's the best, so professional and easy to work with!
@@helenwvng thanks Helen, I really like your video. I’m also looking for apartment to buy as well, just in different country(Australian). It’s such an exciting time!
(6:33 - 6:37) has sign remove shoes but obviously everyone including the agent just ignored it. Wish you could be more considerate to people who cleaned the place before showing and have to clean up again after showing.
hey I totally understand your frustration and I am Asian so it is a big deal to take off my shoes when entering someone’s house. But in this case, I asked the agent who told me not to and everyone else had already gone in with shoes on… so then if I take mine off, my bare feet would touch the dirty floor. I will try to be more mindful next time and make everyone take their shoes off! Thanks for watching 😊
I did take them off for places that asked us to! Some places are not being lived in and the floors aren’t clean so I don’t feel comfortable without shoes on especially if I am not wearing socks 😊
YOU ARE NOT VERY GOOD AT THIS. YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR VIEWERS ABOUT THE PRICE. WHEN TALKING ABOUT IT. NEED MORE EXPERIENCE TALK ABOUT THE THINGS IT HAS FOR THE PRICE. POOR JOB.
Hey Bejan, I am sorry the video wasn't as helpful for you! I didn't want to include the prices because I just wanted to share my condo viewing and searching process. I am not a real estate agent and not trying to sell you anything. I can post the public listing for those who need it in the comments but the listing price is not going to be the same as the selling price anyway...

This and the second part were so useful! Finding a place in the current market in Toronto feels so stressful since good places go fast
So glad you found it useful🥰 I’m sure you’ll find a great place! I feel like it is just about the right timing!
*just subscribed, loved the vibe. i don’t usually get recommended small channels but im so glad I did*
Thank you sooo much! That means so much to me!! we all have to start somewhere right 🥰❤️😭
Very useful videos thank you so much for posting! We are always on the lookout for places.
As a guy.. the washroom is a peaceful sanctuary. At least for me it is. No one bothers me. Its quiet. Lol
You should’ve checked out home at 50 power st! Beautiful brand new building with great views!
I don't be on the bathroom for long but I was raised with 6 sister's and they took up to a hours to 2 hours each one

What’s the price of the first condo?
Appreciated your clip but it would be much better if it goes with the price for each. Wonder why you didn't do it??
7:02 I'm kinda vibing with that TV cabinet
Haha same the built in tv cabinet kinda makes the whole room feel more put together
Condo 5 is more of an Airbnb than a family home. Wonder what neighborhood it was.
Hi there, just curious about how you’re going to add the additional bathroom? I thought plumbing in a condo couldn’t be changed
you need the approval from the condo board. it is possible but with a few hurdles.
