In computer science, we call this tutorial hell, where a person keeps consuming programming tutorials (Theory) without building any real-world app/program (Actions).
I can confirm that. I was stuck in tutorial hell for many months. I had a project I wanted to build and my initial route was to learn how to implement each functionality BEFORE starting the building phase. Well it was frustrating I couldn't understand the teachings in the tutorials, I almost wanted to give up until I decided to start building my project and see how that goes. Surprisingly as I am writing this only into 1 month and half I have built 50% of the functionalities. My strategy now is only go back to tutorial or theory when I need explanation specifically for what I am struggling with.

My perspective is, we have to invest our time on it whether we spend in theory or practical the more we think about the subject(its reading or practical) the more knowledge we can gain which helps to grow more on our field. Finaly whever we learn in books we have to implement in practical.

"Some lessons have to be experienced before they can be understood" - Michael Batnick
A very good video 👏 Thank you for creating it. There is one thing I am wondering about. When you referred to a "coach" were you aware of the difference between a "coach" vs. a "mentor"? I feel like the word mentor would fit more in the context.
I had to say that this a very well constructed, to the point- video. Can you provide us the course of this type of editing video or maybe any kind of the sources that used too far. Not getting the exact way to be part of motion video editing. @outperformMP
Great Video!, You deserve a subscribe 😉
Nice vids!
Once I got to this insight and called this "theory over practice over theory". It used to be my profile name hahahaha
be a relentless experimenter. The most valuable information you'll have for yourself will only be found thru actions literally. That's data that can't be predicted

Great Video Man! I am working on starting a RUclips channel for technical topics, and I'd love make illustration like the ones you do in your videos. What tool do you use?
With the help of good storytelling skills and Adobe After effects software skills. I can help you create those.
How do you make the video to look like this

This is true.
I don't understand why i have developed distance with coaching
how do you reflect better
Good
I have analysis paralysis. So the is goes ACTION - REFLECTION - THEORY - ACTION
Brother, which editing tool you are using ? Please share us
It doesn't matter what tool he uses.
If you have foundational animations knowledge, you could pull this off with any tool.
I used Davinci Resolve for my main channel but most knowledge comes from AE.
Is there a coach here who wouldn't mind sharing their experience? I just want to become a coach and a leader. But I have a hard time doing everything myself. And... I hope there won't be any problems with the fact that I'm Belarusian:)
say theory is your subjects / lessons / notes / classes . Action is your exams . Reflection is your marks. how do u focus more on action and reflection first if you did not learn ur theory part ? shouldn't we be sure with the theory so we can take the test/exam and then reflect on the marks u got ?
My perspective is, we have to invest our time on it whether we spend in theory or practical the more we think about the subject(its reading or practical) the more knowledge we can gain which helps to grow more on our field. Finaly whever we learn in books we have to implement in practical.
Of course, without practice there is no point in learning conclusions.
Get a mentor, as Coaches are not necessarily experienced in your field. Also look at deliberate practice. LEARN, PRACTICE, MASTER 🤞😁
When you are learning history what’s seen as action?
JUST DO IT
Hello, the video was great but I think you should include practical examples
Do you think it's worth it, I think that's enough
Theory Action ...Reflection
Fuck the Theory..just Do it
Wasted if you dont use
Practice is not Theory
Hand on stove...action..wisdom
