It's a pleasure just to sit here and watch you do your magic you are incredible I wish you and Jolene the best in life thank you for your entertaining way
Chad is the Michelangelo of Automotive Sculpture, and Jolene's film and editing skills make this a professional production. But I wanted to comment upon something Jolene does from time to time: Chad says "Jimbo's old truck, the '47 Hudson, the corner of the door was really sharp..." and suddenly Jolene brings up her phone, with a full pic of the '47 Hudson, so we all can visualize what Chad's planning to do. As they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words". Great planning and coordination Jolene, and both of you make a winning team to produce unique cars and videos John 14:6
At first I was bothered by the door corner. but as the build progressed it grew on me. it is a good look , unique ,and it does fit the roof line. my favorite Bad chad build thus far. and i'm sure a lot of guys are gonna use it as inspiration to do the same thing...
Chad, I have watched you for the last 20+ days and I have learned much from you. I am 77 yrs old; but, I wish I lived close to you and I could come to be mentored at your shop. I would gladly work for zero pay and I would do whatever menial jobs or tasks you needed done. You have so much wisdom to be offered and shared. I hope you take this build to total completion.
By far my favorite build, love the workmanship, awesome transition from a 4 door sedan car to a truck. The two of you working together as a team is heart warming and lessons should be taken from this. If you are in need of a place to park this truck, my garage is always open. Topeka, Kansas
Coming along great. Really like the looks of this build, but then I grew up at a time where you saw vehicles that looked like this. The good ole days. Love your work.
I'm not even surprised anymore when something you're building turns out awesome because I've seen your work before tv and you have built some of the coolest cars in history, period... I don't think some of these keyboard warriors know that you were invited to show at Sema. So please stop telling Chad WTF he should be doing until you can show the fans and Chad your award winning builds. I can see this truck finished and painted sitting with the rest of your amazing self built collection. This truck is really cool.
I’m enjoying the work on the door an the gaping,,it’s looking great chad, it’s also good to hear Jolene ask you about the welding of the round rod,,I was happy to see you show fina some affection,I could see she loved it,,luv you guys,,👍👍😀
Been gone for a while, been doing other things. Couple of things, I've watched your work some and I must say, sometimes as I watch I'm thinking, "Dude you're taking off WAY too much!", or, "you're not taking away NEAR enough!", yet it always comes out just right. You have been gifted with an amazing feel for the work. Well done, Sir! My Hat is off!
So glad you kept the door sharp and square fitting. It holds the horizontals of the vehicle together. It's like the finishing strokes from an artist where the final tweke makes everything of the image. Ever considered clipping your mic to the peak of your cap when you're not doing too much welding Chad? 🤪..keep it up guys.👍
I like the door like it is. Who wants to do the same as everybody else. It looks cool.
I like how he does it without the expense tools at times. He makes it work
It's a pleasure just to sit here and watch you do your magic you are incredible I wish you and Jolene the best in life thank you for your entertaining way
Chad’s artistic talent is showcased on this build. A great project!
He's definitely an artist imagine if he cuts off his ear and sends it to Jolene 📦📭. My bad I probably shouldn't have said that
Chad Van Gogh?
He is amazing with a grinder, also.
One thing I got to say about Chad he's the master of the ZIP cut... The man is good at what he does it's all I got to say
I am 76yrs old been welding since I was 14 and I am still learning stuff from you thanks for your videos.

I hope you keep going with this truck. I would love to see it completely finished. Great job Chad and Jolene.
That would be a first in a long time if it were to be Completely Finished, but I’m hoping to see that as well
Won’t happen
Joline, you are amazing with that camera, I would say that you are the best.
I liked the way you describe how and why you set up both the gap and the "height" difference between door and cab.
